I too have a Norton IB8 and decided to use it for the first time. I have been using a home-made emulsion comprising 1 part baby oil, 1 part dishwashing detergent and 3 parts water on my Arkansas stones, so I thought this would be good on the fine India side also. Don't repeat my mistake. I will now have to lap my stone clean.
