Absolutely love this! These trams are my childhood, they were used in Miskolc, Hungary up until 2010 with the trailers, and up to 2015 as solo units without the trailers. The permits for the trailers expired in 2010, and considering how little time they had left, it was deemed uneconomical to send them through a major service. The trams were originally purchased for use on the number 2 line, as the sharp curves and tight clearances did not allow the CDK Tatras (the other type of tram on the network) to go there. Around the 2010-s, with several years of work, the entire network was rebuilt and extended, and these trams were no longer needed. The local narrow-gauge railway purchased 2 units, they plan on installing a diesel motor in them, and converting them to 760 mm gauge, to use as railbuses on the 11km line. Unfortunately the project has seem to have been halted due to lack of funds and other factors. The rest of the units with the trailers were taken away to somewhere, according to most sources, they were sent to Vienna for restoration and they continue to work up to this day. Edit: forgot to add that our units were different from those in the video, our interiors were conpletely white, with textile seats instead of plain wood, and lacked the dot-matrix displays, the fold-out stairs and the push-button door opening systems.

I had to look at the screen intensely because I couldn't work out whether it was real or not. Even the surrounding cars etc were difficult to determine. Excellent graphics. I was amazed at the door wells, the colour mixed in with the dirt was uncanny. Great video!

Looking forward to the TramSim Pro DLC which is due at the end of April, ULF Tram and also the Depot extension. Just need to brush up on the language lol.

According to a very active community member that Lighting issue happens when you look directly at the sun, and they are working ok a fix for that. No update as to when it will be finished.

I think you can find the speed boards hanging from overhead wires. I'm not entirely sure though, I'm trying to find it myself

@@TrainSim_TV No kidding. I usually don't bother looking for the boards and just drive at the speed that makes sense or match my speed with the traffic..

52:12 those aren't for recieving tikets, just stamping them, I don't live in Vienna (yet) but I did spend about almost 13 months there over the course of 6 years. Also these old trams are 100% much nicer than the new ones, at least for me. Great video!

Weird Tom I never experienced those light glitches when I was playing it at all (AMD Graphics Card) also your mirror knob is the left of the 2 on the right below the speedo. (Written whilst half way through the video) Regards Rob P.s Do you every get a bad noise in your headset when inside the underground sections ? Oh and this model is superb.

Thank you for the heads up regarding mirrors. Also i got awful loid noise in the tunnel but i lowered the setting for that on the menu.

Why would you look for a speed board in the middle of a town? If I remember correctly trams should adhere to road speed limits while in built-up area so I'd follow road signs for that.

Not always the case... Blackpool trams which I drove for 7 years have a different speed to the road limit in fleetwood
