Tram D | Bahnhof Kehl | CTS Strasbourg | Strassenbahn | Germany to France | Citadis 403 Alstom
Trams from line D at the new station in front of the railway station in Kehl, Germany. Line D goes from Kehl Station to Poteries in Strasbourg. Because of the Schengen agreement it was possible to extend the tramway line from Strasbourg, France into Germany. For streetcar line A and this line CTS (Compagnie des Transports Strasbourgeois) ordered 10 new Citadis 403 NG (new generation) trams at Alstom for a total amount of 28 million Euro. The beautiful bridge (Beatus Rhenanus) over the Rhine River is especially build for this new tram connection and officially opened on 28-04-2017.

Straßenbahn von der Linie D an der neuen Station vor dem Bahnhof in Kehl, Deutschland. Die Linie D fährt von Kehl Station nach Poteries in Straßburg. Aufgrund des Schengener Abkommens war es möglich, die Strecke von Straßburg nach Frankreich nach Deutschland zu verlängern. Für die Linie A und diese Linie bestellte CTS (Compagnie des Transports Strasbourgeois) bei Alstom 10 neue Citadis 403 NG (neue Generation) Straßenbahnen für einen Gesamtbetrag von 28 Millionen Euro. Die schöne Brücke (Beatus Rhenanus) über dem Rhein ist speziell für diese neue Straßenbahnverbindung gebaut und am 28.04.2017 offiziell eröffnet worden.

Tramway de la ligne D à la nouvelle gare en face de la gare de Kehl, en Allemagne. La ligne D va de Kehl Station à Poteries à Strasbourg. Grâce à l'accord de Schengen, il a été possible d'étendre la ligne de Strasbourg, en France, à l'Allemagne. Pour la ligne A et cette ligne, CTS (Compagnie des Transports Strasbourgeois) a commandé 10 nouveaux Citadis 403 NG (nouvelle génération) à Alstom pour un montant total de 28 millions d'euros. Trams van lijn D bij het nieuwe station voor het station in Kehl, Duitsland. Lijn D gaat van het station van Kehl naar Poteries in Straatsburg. Vanwege het Schengen-akkoord was het mogelijk om de lijn van Straatsburg, Frankrijk naar Duitsland te verlengen. Voor lijn A en deze lijn bestelde CTS (Compagnie des Transports Strasbourgeois) 10 nieuwe Citadis 403 NG (nieuwe generatie) trams bij Alstom voor een totaalbedrag van 28 miljoen euro. It is nothing really; it's just land (okay, so there's a big river in the way in this particular case...) and as societies we care too much about drawing lines everywhere marking out "our" land from "their" land.

Von drinnen sehen die wie in einem dixi Klo aus tut mir leid ich interessiere mich selber für züge und der Anblick damals tat mir auch weh von außen sehen die aber echt futuristisch aus

Cool. I like your multilingual description. Ca fait une grosse amélioration depuis que j'y ai visité en 2015 (on devait prendre un bus spécial depuis la station la plus proche). Je me demande, les annonces à bord sont données en français ou en allemand ? Et les panneaux d'information, les plans etc sur le quai à Kehl ?

Merci pour votre compliment. Certainement une amélioration. Ce tramway relie désormais la gare de Kehl à la mairie de Kehl. Je pense que la langue sur les panneaux de Kehl est l'allemand. De plus, je pense que tout est francophone.
