In all honesty tshd was removed back in 2017 due to play stores terms and conditions. N3v did upload it again bit under the name trainz 2 which also got removed by Google play due to its terms and conditions. Ts3 was released last year upgrading the graphics but no surveyor nor multilayer, some were disappointed for this but n3v are working on surveyor 2.0 (s20) for pc then going to port that too mobile. The real reason why they didn't release trainz driver 2 for android was because at the time it was released for ios android devices were not high enough in demand for content and so releasing it for android would given them nearly no profit whatsoever so they decided to keep it to ios users, they did say that ts2 was gonna release for mobile in 2018-2019 but there would be no point as phones could already do much more than they did so they cancelled ts2 for android and just released ts3. Originally they had a plan to release ts2hd for android which would be based on trs12 engine but they scaped that because they thought ios wouldn't get this upgrade as it was based on trs2009 and there was no need to update it to ts12 as it used the exact same engine. There was also some news in 2020 of someone porting ts2 into android but it basically turned into scamming and viruses.

the addon part is true some content creators at the time moved on from trainz so when N3V probally wanted thier content to be on android the creators probally didnt responded

Quite a good selection but if this android version is anything like the PC version you should be able to download even more trains from the DLS so you'd be well and truly spoilt for choice :) (I cannot promise being able to download trains in this version though as I don't have it and have no idea what similiarities and differences it has from the PC version)

The Version of the game was too old to run on modern devices. It got updated to trainz 2 that also got discontinued (but is still on IOS) and now to Trainz 3 but is not free tho you can download the pirated version that is on KZread (Not a good a idea)

You still can play it (search on website for apk) but it have small lag even you using high end devices or gaming phone. But from my logic android today no longer use Nvidia Tegra chip anymore because android use most powerful chip device.
