Beaverton in Ontario, Canada. January 2019. Temperatures were as warm as 24 degrees Fahrenheit & as cold as -20 Fahrenheit wind chill! In this video, you'll see Canadian National freight trains passing through Beaverton. All trains are FULL LENGTH with NO EDITS within the consists.

i find it satisfying how the shadow from the railroad crossing buck stays on the train as long as the noise from the train going across the rail is happening. (second train)

It’s not CSX. It’s an Ex-Conrail and now Ex-CSX dash 8-40cw

I've been to Beaverton quiet nice place
I wonder why you never see bulk consists mixed with intermodal consists. *excluding auto racks.
I also spots 1 Canadian national locomotive in the middle of the freight train

These trains are cooking on them tracks speed wise holy without actually seeing the speedometer on the open tracks & this is only a guess. But I would say easy anywhere between 90 to 120 sum of them pushing lol either way they were making good time and gas mileage haha.

The teardrops are for the Canadian Cab version of C44-9W's and Gevos.

Sean Nguyen - Glenhaven Sr PS (1173) yes that is also a reason which drags the train back But this setup also acts as an AWD car you have two wheels in the rear pushing the car while you have two wheels pulling

many reasons, they run them on the end to reduce slack and less strain on the front cars, depends on the terrain that the train will be on, sometimes they need a pusher or two, also in cold weather having dpu's in the middle and or the end helps to maintain consistent air pressure throughout the whole train and improves braking response.

Maybe GE locomotives, but a GEVO??? Those usually have K5LAs or something close to that I believe...
