Great footage of the 150 sprinters and the IET at Paignton. It’s been a long time since I have been there. 1989 on a holiday with the Boy Scouts. We travelled on an overnight BR intercity direct from Glasgow Central to Torquay - all seated carriages and they were summer only trains - I remember it was a mark 2 carriage and I would get woken up every time the train braked to pull into a station - I would like to go back down to the Torbay area again and take a ride on the steam railway from Paignton.

The line doesn’t stop there. It keeps going to Kingswear (near the River Dart), but is unused to this day.
