On 30th March 2024, I trainspotted at London Victoria.
London Victoria train station is located in the centre of London. It is a massive station. It’s one of London’s major station. There are also many trains and a variety of train operators here. This is a very busy railway station in the UK. Victoria station serves: Southeastern, Southern, Gatwick Express, Victoria Line, District Line and Circle Line trains. In this video, you will only see Southern, Gatwick Express and Southeastern trains. I didn’t record any London Underground trains. I only recorded the national rail trains.
London Victoria station has 19 platforms, that is a lot. For trainspotting, it’s not the easiest. This is because of the station layout with all of the platforms. It was still alright though. The station is a bit confusing and complicated in my opinion. The amount of trains is very good. It is a very nice station overall.
In my opinion, I think that London Victoria is a decent place to record trains. I think that because the platform designs make it a lot harder to spot trains. The frequency of trains is amazing though. Please keep in mind, this is my point of view.
