I haven’t rode a hrose in 5 months bc of corona, going back at the weekend for a nice hack which i’m excited abt that lol. last time i took a break, when i got back into riding i got bucked off so a little nervous

All the horses look so glad to be out I love ur TikToks and KZread videos. I love the way u jump it looks so flawless I’m not good at jumping I get really nervous and I don’t know how to control it and then I rush the fence and anticipate it I used to ride a horse at my yard Chester but he got sold recently and I didn’t know but I love u ,ur vlogs ,ur horses and everyone and ofc otis ❤️❤️❤️

I am now such an avid watcher of your videos. I realized I've said this only once before , but every time you commentate standing next to your horses , who by the way are unbelievably fantastic jumpers , for your horses seem to listen to your compliments about them, and I've found that these are my favorite times to watch. I really enjoy watching each of these horses faces and ears as you compliment each of them while speaking on camera about how they did on the day's jumping exercise. Those horses absolutely love you , they really do enjoy you speaking so Highly of them for I do realize they know exactly what your saying about them . You make them feel so good about themselves , you can see it when they were on the course exercises going from high jump to high jump. It's obvious that they all want to do good in the ring for you . These horses have complete respect for you , because you respect them with good teaching and expert riding for you are a true professional and a great caretaker of all of them. And again , these horses love listening to your enthusiastic kind words you speak about each of their personal achievements. Horses are very smart. You are very much a very kind gentleman and your such an inspiration to the integrity of the equestrian sport of show jumping and to all of us who love horses too. Thank you always.

Joe you said that you were going to work on your flat work with a couple of the horses. Have you tried or do you do any dressage work with the horses? Just wondering because of couple of friends admit that since adding some basic dressage work with their horses it's helped them in their jumping as well. I know that Romeo comes from a dressage background so you think that that has helped him become such a wonderful jumper. I just love to watch him- so clean, serious and talented of a horse.

I think the horses flat work/dressage is a huge part of making them top showjumpers :)

You should do a "What it's like to ride my horses!" video, in which you where a helmet cam/gopro while schooling over some fences or on the flat!

I've got 2 questions: do u sometimes get slightly nervous/scared of the jump's height? (The obstacle) and what do you do when ur nervous while jumping? (I often get really nervous whenever I have to jump higher than my comfortable jump height... 😥)

I don’t get nervous when training but sometimes at big shows. I would try say practice as much as possible and start small it doesn’t matter about height

Ok..here comes the dummy comment....literally. I dont ride just always wanted to and now at 71 I get to watch wonderful horses and riders. You said Romeo was a little fresh and your arms hurt afterward. What if someone with no great strength rode him fresh? Would he just take off and go where he wanted to? Just gallop around like a crazy horse ...forget the jumps? Please be kind to this old lady 😀 Btw...I watch on my phone and couldn't tell he was fresh except for your little note....how does the watcher tell...are there signs? I just saw you riding and jumping..so beautiful.

Thank you for your kind comments! Romeo is a little strong he wouldn’t take off with someone who wasn’t as strong as me but it would be harder to see a good stride as he work get faster and faster. The signs are just him being more forward going a little keen to the fences when he should be waiting sometimes :)
