Part of tending a garden includes cleaning up the walkways to the accessible areas .. plants that get overly friendly with guests need pruning .. but sometimes, if we start them young enough, we can train them to grow the way we want ..

I just checked the maypops. They are close to, but not quite, ripe. I’m hoping they will ripen before the frost hits them, but I will send you the best that I have.

🤣🤣the dialogue between Mary and you! 😂That tree looks like a tropical tree(leaves), here the look-a-like is known as "Árbol de dólar", translates as a "Dollar Tree",on account the leaves look like silver dollars. If your tree blooms these fairly large, fluffy white, pink or light purple(lilac?)then you have a árbol de dólar. Another description, the huge, dark brown pods, will at the right time fall to the ground, and giving the temperature of the moment, will pop open and viola.....seeds sent showering all over the place!😂👍and 👋greetings from Querétaro. 🤠
