‪@TravelOctober‬ went to Ooty via train and it was one of the most exciting journeys so far. Train journeys are always awesome as you enjoy amazing views and time on your journey.
Here's how I wen to Ooty from Banagalore via Train. No bus. No Flight. Only Trains
1) I started my journey by taking a metro from Jayanagar Metro Station to Yesvantpur Junction Metro Station via Green Line Metro.
2) I walked to Yesvantpur Junction Railway Station as it is very close to the Metro (One of the good things of Metro, in this case).
3) I had my reservation in 12257 Yesvantpur Kochuveli Garib Rath Express
4) I explored Yesvantpur Junction as it was my first visit to this station.
5) I explored Garib Rath as well as it was my first journey in Garib Rath.
6) I went to Coimbatore and took some amazing shots of beautiful views in the jourey while traveling via train.
7) I dropped off at Coimbatore Junction which is in Tamil Nadu to change my train
8) I caught Nilgiri Superfast Express which goes to Mettupalayam Railway Station. Took around 45 Minutes
9) I reached Mettupalayam from where I got Toy Train
