I don't see the Free Room option, only the first three options. I'm playing the game on PS4 0:13

Hey, thanks for getting back to me so fast, I just had a breakthrough, the Flying Scotsman works great, you just connect and release the brakes on the second engine and both engines work equally. I was trying with the 8F and it doesn't work so at least I can use the Flying Scotsman 😊 Just getting back into TSW and will follow your channel. Cheers 🍻

Hi there, thanks for the video. I wanted to ask you.... How do I connect two steam engines in free roam where both engines are putting in the same work effort? I spawn two seperate steam engines, I link them together with the coupler, I then let the brakes off in the second engine........... However, the second steam engine essentially get towed and does no work. Any help with this would be amazing... Thank you :)

So far I know you can not really do double steam locos, not even irl, unless there is a second driver in the second loco doing the same stuff the first one does. as they are not coupled together in a way like most modern locos are, this concept unfortunately does not work. sorry.

You can't control both at the same time but if you use the third person perspective camera you can use your key/controller controls to drive one train and use manual to control the other train. As I type this I have four steam locos pulling a very heavy American set of coaches/Cars. The flying Scotsman the Fowler f4 and the lms passenger and lms freight trains.

WTF I launched free roam once, and the next time I started the game it disappeared from the menu

How do you get so many train options like I like driving freight ones and I only see passengers

what exactly do you mean train options? you can spawn any train you want, even freight ones. there are also timetable services for those.

When you spawn trains, are they always cold & dark? So you have to go through the whole start-up procedure? If so, this is great.
