The only thing I’m not excited for is the lag. It won’t be the smoothest running route on PS4!

Please make a video driving a steamer on the West Somerset Railway DLC route, they normally have steam trains there and it will be so much more accurate, and a nice challenge once you are accustomed to the steam engines. This route looks so promising, I really look forward to trying it!!

I love jubilees because essentially they’re the passenger version of a black 5.

That wheel slip gave me the biggest smile, been waiting for steam to come to TSW/TSW2 forever. It's so fantastic so finally see it

If my memory is correct, Crewe is where Henry went for his overhaul in Thomas and friends.

i have wanted this game for a long time, but only care about Steam Trains, so i have put off buying it since release, with the Steam Starter bundle that is on steam, i finally took the plunge and bought it, my patience has paid off! cant wait! Now give us more steam trains :D

I hope someday they allow more customization in TSW2 I drove a class 55 pullman service from endinburgh and through the channel tunnel in the old TS game the other day. I'd love to be able to do something like that in a TSW game.

really cool, I can imagine this was a new thing for them to make, route was probably straight forward as they are baking a new route now every month, but steam loco.. congrats I am sure this will open doors for more steam trains in the future

I would love to see Union Pacific's Challenger in this game.

It's great but hopefully there would be more than two steam locomotive classifications in the DLC in the future

The blower is used for building steam while the engine is idle

I can hear my PS4 now turning into a jet engine trying to play with this locomotive.

With this steam dlc out this makes he really hope they add the flying Scotsman , big boy, 4449 aka daylight, 844 and other steamers to the game, keeping my hopes up

So excited about this dlc

It's like 3.30 am 31st of may in the UK and spirit of steam isn't available yet to download, every other DLC pack has came out on midnight apart from spirit of steam, it's kinda strange.

ive been waiting for steam trains to be added and its here

Do you have to buy the Spirit of steam route so you can run the loco's on the WSR on Train sim world or buy the locos sperate?

My thoughts: If you want more variety of UK routes, or just more routes to choose from, go for Train Simulator. Although if you’re in it for the realism, definitely Train Sim World 2. Except the AI isn’t the smartest.
