There were some locomotives in new south wales that were largely to this design, different smoke box and cab but essentially the same loco.

I’d like to see more remakes of the old locomotive profiles that you used to do in this style.

There were indeed two Great Western ones, because the WCPR owned two, and the WCPR was completely broke. When it went into administration (again) the GWR was entitled to their portion of the company's assets - which included two of the locomotives.

If anyone whos watched this and has wanted improved textures for the Terriers which brings up their textures and colouring to modern 2023 - 2024 standards, Golden Age Developments has released a VW Terrier Patch which fixes the textures and rectifies some of the colours, very good pack.

If only the special 2-4-0 Terrier was included here in the pack. One Terrier, No. 82 Boxhill, was made into a 2-4-0T in 1905 as part of a trial for auto train services on the LBSCR. He was later rebuilt into an 0-6-0 in 1913, then withdrawn in 1946. He's now preserved at the NRM as part of the National Collection.

Not only Boxhill, but Beulah, No.81, was given the same treatment. Unfortunately, she was broken up later on. I believe that Boxhill spent some time in the Ivy Green goods engine livery while she was a 2-4-0 - I promise it was, in fact, green!

I imagine these were a somewhat common site on the DR during the last pre grouping ear and early big 4

One thing you didn't go over was the simulated crosshead pumps on the A1's while the a1x's were all rebuilt with steam powered water injectors.

@@DDJP All good! they're kinda weird to play with actually, the faster you're going, the more quickly your boiler fills. there are stories of crews greasing the rails so they can slip the engines and fill the boiler before putting the engines to bed.
