7:36 It is a real livery but was already long gone by the time the E2s were built. The livery is known as "Goods Green" and was used by William Stroudley (yes, this is a Stroudley livery used on goods engines while passenger engines wore ochre) but was stopped by Robert Billinton.
Some would have to fact check me on this but I remember reading online that the E2's were actually more powerful than the Caledonian 812's

Yeah they were. The E2s had a tractive effort of 21,307 lbf while the 812s had a tractive effort of 20,170 lbf.

I think that comes from that video on the E2s and how to fix them.

Yeah i agree and the coal capacity is the same as a jinty class shunters and wheel base same almost as a jinty too the water tanks its good more than a jinty

I think the E2s are 3Fs whole the 812s are 2Fs.
The E2s remain one of the decisive tank engine designs. I personally love it for its beautiful design and I’m glad it was able to find a purpose that helped them last for 50 years.
Despite some people's complains towards them, I still think the E2s are beautiful locomotives, especially in dark umber.
The E2s were good at their jobs and are beautiful looking engines. Its a shame that they can't do what they should have done.
Nice to see that the model holds up. Also I've been having a thought, does Train Sim have some of the more strange engines? Found a fun one from Ireland called Pat.
E2 as a shunter and short distance goods locomotive, they were fine. It was when they tried them on passenger trains the problems begun. Water and coal capacity and shaking at speed were the big issues. But when they were shunting at Southampton docks they had no issues apart from a few tight corners.
Interesting seeing a dark railway livery
LBSC 107 is green
Apparently the model was based more off the Hornby model size-wise

Apparantly so but by the looks of it it isnt actually that comically oversized as initially thought.
