Info about the game's train system:
Trains are present in Red Dead Redemption 2. They can be robbed by the player, and, unlike other Red Dead games, they can also be driven. While driving, the player can ring the bell, use the whistle, brake, reverse and accelerate. In addition, players can ride a train as a form of fast travel by buying tickets at any train stations. The ticket price will vary depending on the travel distance to the player's destination.
Trains run through most of the territory, from Big Valley in the west to Annesburg in the east, except in the South-West of the map. While the rail line between Benedict Point, Armadillo, and MacFarlane's Ranch in New Austin exists, no passenger trains run and tickets can't be purchased, only cargo trains will be found running.
There are five separate railroad companies: the Central Union Railroad, the Lannahechee and Midland Rail Co. and the Southern and Eastern Railway operate in Ambarino, Lemoyne, New Hanover, and the Big Valley region of West Elizabeth. The Southwestern Railroad and the Pacific Union Railroad, from the first Red Dead Redemption game, are also seen in operation in New Austin; however only trains from the latter appear. A newspaper article later states that the Southern and Eastern Railway Company was bought by the Pacific Union Railroad Company in 1907, following Cornwall's death in 1899.
Two types of locomotives are in the game: the first is a 4-6-0 Ten-Wheeler based off of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad's "Thatcher Perkins", and the other is a 4-4-0 American based off of New York Central & Hudson River Railroad #999, a locomotive reported to have allegedly gone over 100 mph in 1893. The 4-6-0 design is used primarily by the Central Union Railroad and the Lannahechee and Midland Rail Co., though the Southern and Eastern Railway also operate one. The 4-4-0 is used by the Southern and Eastern and the Pacific Union Railroad.
For this specific video, the train is operated by Central Union Railroad, which is possibly a reference to the real-life former Central Pacific Railroad.

About the game:
Red Dead Redemption 2 is a 2018 action-adventure game developed and published by Rockstar Games. The game is the third entry in the Red Dead series and is a prequel to the 2010 game Red Dead Redemption.
The story is set in 1899 in a fictionalized representation of the Western, Midwestern, and Southern United States and follows outlaw Arthur Morgan, a member of the Van der Linde gang. Arthur must deal with the decline of the Wild West whilst attempting to survive against government forces, rival gangs, and other adversaries. The story also follows fellow gang member John Marston, the protagonist of Red Dead Redemption.

Imagine if all fictional states by rockstar were one island. Imagine, new Austin, west Elizabeth, new Hanover, ambarino, lemoyne, Nuevo paraiso, north Yankton, south Yankton, liberty, Alderney, new guernsey, independence, and San Andreas connected to each other as one big island. Without cayo perico and guarma since they're separate islands

@@KatzenwagenTV that didnt become mandatory regulation until 2005. in the time period rdr2 takes place, it would definitely be considered excessive.

it would be so cool if the coal was actually made so that each piece f coal was individually modelled, and you have to, or the game automaticlly, has the chararcters shovel coal into the furnace. and because each piece is an individual model, itd act like real coal would where pieces fall out as its being shovelled and slightly move as the train is going, and the coal goes down as you shovel so that you eventually have to refill it. i think that would be so cool. theres so many opportunitys for modders to make this game as realistic as possible it blows my mind. from this idea, to building being constructed in real time. characters that have actual life routines. real time clocks with people that go around lighting and putting out lanterns and candles etc. characters actually collecting wood to actually build fires and keep them going. the railway being built in real time. if you destroy a building it gets rebuilt ad cleaned up in real time. if you kill a person, they actually get collected ad taken to a morgue and prepared and have a funeral, if you kill an animal then nature takes it toll on te remains in real time, be it deomposition, or other animals eating it etc. obviously the game would need a way to keep track of everything going on like how skyrim does with its unique characters. but if possible the possibilities are endless.
No reason for watching this…It just looks like a fun and relaxing joyride, enjoying the landscape and passing some time! 🛤🚂💨

This is my favorite thing to do while playing this game. I usually take the one in Annesburg, since I only get a low bounty ($5.00), for doing so.
This is basically like The Gordon of Rdr2, And express engine thundering down the line

Realistically they would not have used a chime whistle then, rather a single tone whistle.
I literally fell so bad for that horse poor animal following Arthur on that train even being a game I still feel bad

Rockstar needs to correct the mistake of GTA 5 and add trains in GTA 6 that we can both drive and ride as passenger , when im bored of the game i just to love to play in relaxing way enjoying the scenery
this game should have had the same amount of attention given by rockstar after it was made that theyve given GTA V. theyve been updating that game since it came out in 2012. but they just put this out then left it. what i wouldnt give to see first person mode, and or VR support. new DLC content. i mean sh*t even the first one got a Zombie DLC which i honetly thought would have been a standard addition to this one, but no such luck. now theyre working GTA 6, this game will just be left to gather dust despite people STILL playing it to this day.

thankfully, nope. the character just yanked him off his seat and somewhat gently threw him out of the train (it's stationary when I did it btw) :D

That's weird, It feels gigantic for me. Maybe you're not used for a map designed for horse travel.

@@danwordgod2017 Yeah same here. The map feels massive especially when you get West Elizabeth as well. Going by train makes it feel slightly less big because of the speed and convenience of the rails but by Horse there's so much to see it's amazing. I love the mountains/grizzlies.

nah, I just waited for the train to arrive at Saint Denis station, hijacked it, got rid of the guards in the passenger cars, and ran the train freely in this video :) (it took A LOT of waiting until the dang train arrived at the station though lol)
