A few train meets in Sorrento Valley from 2008, as well as 2 Bonus shots at the end of Coaster F40PH #2105! I got some decent K5LA horn action in this video, and a double set with 3 engines on an Amtrak Surfliner train.
Meet #1...A southbound Amtrak Surfliner rolls past on the siding with F59PHI #457 and #456 leading. A broken down Surfliner set brings up the rear of this train. Nice sounding quill on AMTK 457! As the end of this long train clears the intersection, a northbound Coaster train led by F40PH #2102 passes by.
Meet #2...A southbound Coaster with Cabcar #2307 meets a northbound Amtrak Surfliner with Cabcar #6907. Filmed on May 7th 2008.
Bonus clip #1... Coaster F40PH #2105 cruises thru Noell St. rockin' an outstanding K5LA horn!! Engineer really laying on it too!!
Bonus clip #2...Same train as the previous one, now at the crossing in Sorrento Valley.
