Drivers seem to love playing 'Ilkey Moor Bar' tat..When i was Handsignalman on the West Coast Mainline and more so on the Settle to Carlisle upgrade project, they just used to love blaring their horns at you to make you jump right next to you aswell..Bloody Sods...😂😂😂..Built up a great repartee with them tho had some laughs..Great guys..🙂🙂

The cab rides are authorised by the managers that I know, It is nearly imposible just to get one if you don't know the right people.

Ok thanks i would love to know the right people as i have tried the drivers by me as i live in the west midlands and they don't give cab rides and they are not as good as east coast and east midland drivers. thanks for replying :)

I've gone into cab once at West Midlands railway. I didn't drive but driver let me in cos train terminated there (Stourbridge Jct)

Would the best way to get a cab ride with east coast be going to one of their stations and hope for the best or get in contact with them by email.
