My favorite song too

This is such a fabulous song, and means a great deal to me. I was going through hell in a failing marriage when this came out. It makes me hurt, but also gives me release at the same time .

I'll never forget the look on her face last night when I asked her to marry me, I've never seen a face light up like that. Neither one of us have ever ben married and always wanted to be but a recent brain cancer diagnosis has left her nearly hopeless until I popped the question. The Dr says she has less than six weeks to live. She's trying so hard to stay in good cheer, she's an incredible inspiration and has been since the day I met her. Last night I was cleaning her hair out of the shower, i couldn't hold the tears back and I heard her say behind me " I'm going to have to quit using that stupid cheap shampoo...." as I turned around to her I seen the cutest little smile I've ever seen and I'll never forget the hug we shared and all though my heart is absolutely broken it has never been more full of love. She's been playing this song lately so I'm going to surprise her and learn it on the guitar, this is our song till the Lord takes me out of this world to meet her in Heaven. There's a Train concert in Seattle Wa in 4 weeks and if she's able, I'm going to take her. I'm going to miss her so badly but I'm trying so hard to just be thankful for the time we've had to spend together. My dearest Juanita I love you so very much, you'll forever be in my heart.

@@mattkrupinski2158 Thank you so very much Matt I appreciate the kind sentiment and the thought. She took her last breath on a Saturday morning August 13th, the Lord took her home. I'll never forget her strength and her Faith, she was an incredible inspiration to everybody around her, cheerful in all weather. Thanks again Matt

@@Scar_444 It doesn't really matter how old the comments are, I receive the notifications right away and try to respond to people in a timely fashion, it's easy to do considering it's about the only social media I do.

This song gets better and better over the years. Must be me getting old 😆
