Ultima gara della stagione 2023! Non che siamo così esperti, abbiamo poi fatto 4 gare:

* PizzoStella SkyMarathon
* e questa!
Panorami stupendi anche per questa gara con partenza ed arrivo a Verbania e unica vera salita di giornata quella al Monte Fajé.
Si parla sempre di 37km e 2100 metri di dislivello, sicuramente non una scampagnata, ma dopo la Lavaredo e la PizzoStella, sicuramente meno faticosa.
Unica pecca è che una grande parte di gara si svolge su asfalto: ben il 18% della gara! Tanta parte del bosco è su ciottoli e scalini, anche qui la difficoltà aumenta. Gli ultimi 8km poi sono tutto asfalto, e ti tagliano le gambe (soprattutto se sei già cotto come noi!).
Il resto della gara si svolge per boschi belli, con vista sempre stupenda e un passaggio su un ponte spettacolare!
Ottimo il servizio massaggi alla fine, e bellissimi i gadget!

Stunning views also for this race with start and finish in Verbania and the only real climb of the day is that of Monte Fajé.
We are always talking about 37km and 2100 meters of altitude difference, certainly not a picnic, but after the Lavaredo and PizzoStella, certainly less tiring.
The only flaw is that a large part of the race takes place on asphalt: as much as 18% of the race! A lot of the forest is on pebbles and steps, so the difficulty increases here too. The last 8km are all asphalt, and will cut your legs (especially if you're already tired like us!).
The rest of the race takes place through beautiful woods, with always stunning views and a passage over a spectacular bridge!
The massage service at the end was excellent, and the gadgets were wonderful!
