The Travellers' Times Liza Mortimer caught up with John Doe, a Romany Gypsy who lives nomadically in his Bowtop Wagon.
John Doe was part of Atchin Tan at this year's Glastonbury Festival. Here John talks about both Bowtop Wagons and the more modern trailers.

Grew up calling them vardos and wagons, never called them trailer until recently

Vardos is the Romany word for a bow top wagon trailer a caravan 👍👍

The juck fari too much his a posh at most. Half Romany maybe. Not traveller tho Romany like to fari to gorjas about culture. we don’t
