I just had the same experience and thought. Someone just asked me today what my favorite film of all time is, and I answered this. I saw it soon after it came out, over 20 years ago, and I still can't even watch the trailer without crying. Mohammad reminds me deeply of my dear brother.
Not likely to ever see a more beautiful movie than this one.
Best film ever made nothing beats this film, NOTHING! This film should be release again so that the whole world knows about it again.Its the finest in all aspect and no doubt the masterpiece. This generation dumb millennials should watch such film. 2019 and still its my no 1 favrt film ever. 20yrs and still cry everyday for this film 😪😭

The most beautiful movie and tragic movie I have seen in my life. This truly touched my heart and I had to keep myself from crying in front of my class. It's worth watching that's for sure :)

I always think of this as my favorite movie. Many movies are "about" love, this movie really graces us with love. I just watched it again and now feel the simple and pure heart of this movie once again.

The little boy loves his family nana and sisters so much, he is innocent sweet and caring, why his father reject him is wrong
No words can describe the greatness of this movie
We were watching this yesterday on tv, with my whole family, and all our faces were wet with tears it's a really upsetting movie. :(

What on earth did I just watch! I was not ready for such a heavy movie. I wish if we could get an HD version. This was not a movie, it felt like a dream to me. reminded me of The Secret Garden (1993).

Brilliant movie, a lot of empathy and heart. This is so real and beautiful thank you. Blind people are vulnerable all people are vulnerable but this is sad.

Mohammad's heartbreaking relationship with his Grandmother, and vice versa is the prominent "key" in this brilliant movie. Why the Iranian Cinema is not introduced in U.S. , as it deserves to be known? Oh, subtitles....

Yeah, "The Color of God" is a far, far better title
esta pelicula me gusto mucho se la recomiendo a todos veanla es muy buena y a veces salen las lagrimas Xd se las recomiendo

He felt God. Actually, the true name of a movie in Persian is color of God and in the scene, he told blind people can touch the God, But in another scene, he told that even God doesn't like us he forget about us he gets our sight. At the end of the film the color of God is shown in his hand and in our sight but he felt it.
