Not sure what state you're in but are you required to have an o2 sensor?

Florida and no. No inspections here at all, you can get away with no windshield here lol

@obsyon7148 you can modify and weld up your original exhaust to work. But I wanted it to fit with no problems and look nice so I went that route

What muffler are you running

Straight piped with the factory muffler in the rear If that's what it is. Might be a resonator

Can anyone confirm this pipe will fit on a 07 5.3l? with factory exhaust.. .

yes 2007 with a 5.3l v8 codes are throwing for a clogged cat. We want to install the catless yes. Might need to send it to a friend since we live in Colorado and they will not ship it here. @@SiempreTumbadoSprayedbyRo

Hey brother got a poor mans SS. It's a 5.3 with dod delete, Stage 2 cam, ported and polished heads, and a bunch of other goodies. But I've noticed now my truck stinks like sulphur and I think my cats are bad, is this a sign? if so I want to just cut the cats out and replace with straight pipe. Here's my question. If I do this do I need to get those extenders for the downstream 02's to keep off the CEL? Sweet TBSS brother. I'm at 407hp 412tq with my 5.3 so basically I'm where a stock SS is after ALOT of engine work.....😆

Hey man ain't nothing wrong with that, no one will ever know lol. Yes you can cut out the cats and replace with straight pipe. If I'm correct the o2 sensors plug in before the cats so no extensions will be necessary. But it's been a while since I looked at the factory ypipe

I just moved a LOOONG ways away from where I had so many friends that could help me with shit like getting into the ECU and getting rid of any codes from deleting the cats. . I called around where I'm at in Orlando and everyone wants 500 and up to reprogram the truck. I miss just grilling my buddy a Ribeye and him coming over with his laptop and tuning my rig.
