From what I can see from your video, fans are earned from entertaining driving... crashes, jumps, passing drivers, etc. Not just from winning or being in a high position.

bruh it felt like a ps3 game on ps2 it blew my mind and ahead of its time, specially the handling much better than trail out.

Ultimate carnage was better, same game but polished graphics for the 360 and a far superior sound track and physics

Oh man.. finally something new to move on to from FO: Ultimate Carnage, since Wreckfest doesn't meet my expectation as the successor of FlatOut series

The devs said, that all soundtracks are copyright free; split screen max 4 people, 8 player multiplayer should come later (max 8 players like old flatout games) and game comes to consoles next year (see steam roadmap) p.s many Names in the FestApp you see are Beta testers and people who supported from the old patreon their had for early access (BnN has also a yt channel, where he uploaded some stuff from Trail out too)

That's really cool, I still have trust issues with songs because even if they are not copyright now, they may be in a few years. It happens more than usual

It looks so much like a great FlatOut parody game with lots of references.

Trail Out Was Good But It Have Some Bad Kinds The Joe Boomer Derby Battle Event Was Hard Crashing Props Lose Your Speed Unlike Flatout

I wonder how you start a new campaign? I got 1st in all the events except for the "No Time" events which are next to impossible to achieve. I want to start the story over and watch the hilarious cutscenes again. I love the cutscene with the girls in the back of the pickup truck busting through the barn wall like nothing is wrong.

Curious how the Switch port will turn out. Not typically a racing fan, but Wreckfest is one of the few games I just keep playing well after having finished everything, just because it's fun. If this turns out as decent a port as Wreckfest, I might get it for my Switch, it looks a lot of fun. My second favourite car game ever is actually Snowrunner, but that's not a racing game. After that come the games like Cruis'n Blast and Mario Kart (7, 8, and Double Dash being my favourites), Burnout 2 and 3, Excite Truck, and Need for Speed Nitro on Wii. Completely over the top arcade racing.

@@ConCon I was also only quite recently made aware of the Switch version having been announced, by a fan of this game as a reply on me expressing my enjoyment of Wreckfest. Before that I didn't even know this game existed, as I only play on Switch anymore. But focusing on one system with less "AAA" taking the spotlight, indie and lower budget releases are easier to keep track of, and that's where the passion, vision, ambition, and fun is mostly at.

Some of the cars are based off Soviet/Russian cars. That implies that the game was developed in Russia.

This is definitely made by someone from the Flatout (bugbear) dev team otherwise they could get sued. This has similar maps, modes, characters as in Flatout series.

cars understeer so much in this game there is no weight transfer, unlike flatout 2 which was perfect even today

@@ConCon yeah, I adjusted the steering a little bit but it still sucks the rear wheels never lose grip like the car has no weight and that also fu*ks up jumps and cause the car to roll and it feels the same in gravel and street, just different in ice tho. I hope they fix it.

Played it it's a kinda sloppy version of Flatout 2, fun for a bit but it's a bit too Janky for me, back to Wreckfest it is.

it really does surprise me that you don't mention this game to be an exact copy of the earlier Flat Out games to be. I assume you are not a race game fan otherwise you would have known this, even the 'bowling part' of the game is an exact copy of Flat Out. Even the name, Trail Out, Flat Out, just saying. Leon

@@ConCon Man, you gotta play either Flat Out 2 or Flat Out Carnage (3 sucks big time and 2 is just better than 1); such classics. Also: Split Second and Blur, both from 2013 are must plays if you're into these type of chaos racing games !
