Trail Camera Footage Prince George, BC
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
Amazing Trail Camera footage from a trail inside the city limits of
Prince George, BC.
Check out the Cougars, lynx, bears, skunks, moose, fox, coyotes, deer and more!
A fast trigger speed is always a key to get good wildlife footage of the trail camera. For our area a good infrared flash is needed as most of the wildlife travels at night along the trails.

Never having used a trail cam kzread.infoUgkx2sTDdZXomuxedMg_HothfjSXjR3rpPkA before, I was very impressed with the quality of the images and videos. The sensitivity of the camera can be adjusted as well as the length of video recordings. Once I found the sweet spot, I was getting great clips of deer and other animals almost every day. I was worried about battery life but have been running off the same 4 aa batteries for over a month. The SD card is easy to remove and connect to a computer. I have a Mac, and the AVI files open natively in QuickTime and are easy to save and share. This is a great, budget-friendly trail cam.
I don’t get to hike anymore and now a city girl of 67 so I do so enjoy your videos and they bring back good memories. Thank you very much.

+tsiu123 Hey, great vid. At the end those are lions, right? Or you call them cougars up there? They're the only ones in that whole video I think. And they're not tagged/collared as far as I could tell. You might tell the local biologists cause there are probably some academics around trying to get a count. I know down here in CA if anyone comes up with good evidence of an un collared cat it's a pretty big deal. Of course we only have I think 380 left in the whole state (as far as they can count). And to see them grouped together like those 4 is Really Unusual. Good Work !!
It's "wild". I truly enjoyed. Thanks a lot for the good work.
It’s amazing that the animals seem to sense the camera as something not usually in their habitat !

I wear rubber gloves and never bring the camera inside, I try to swap memory cards and batteries right at the tree, and wipe the card with alcohol prior and only touch the batteries with the gloves right from the package, and I don't have bear biting issues anymore!

The best trail cam videos that i have ever seen and i have watched a bunch. I particularly like how you stop it on some the animals because sometimes they go so fast that you can hardly see them. The only problem that i have is the music. I dont know why but it is somewhat distracting. Maybe a slower tempo music would be better but anyway that is just my idea. Great work and thanks for sharing.

Cool. I live on Vancouver Island and while we have a rep for cougars and other wildlife we do not have many species found elsewhere in BC such as Coyotes, Fox, skunks, moose I doubt we have bob cats either but not sure. Pretty sure we have no native rabbits but now have introduced species.

Lynx is on my bucket list to see. We have some in Southern Colorado that I'm hoping will migrate up around our place in Northern Colorado soon.
Man, this is really great footage, congratulations! Makes you wonder though, just how close you can be to some pretty dangerous wildlife, whao. Its funny how some of the wolves (cyotes) were on to your cam but not much else (squirrel or stoat accepted). And those black bears, they love the camera. Someone said they find the smell of the plastic or batteries really attractive. I feel sorry for that crippled black bear, although if I was there in front of her/him I don't think that would cross my mind.

Yes some are curious of the camera and some are very wary
So was that you messing with the camera getting the SD card early on in the video or was that an animal?
Hey I was also wondering what type of camera this is, the night videos are really good which is hard to find still for 150$, if it would be to much to ask next time you check the camera could you see what type and model? Thanks so much!

Hi Dave It is a MOULTRIE Game Spy M-80 IR Infrared 5.0 MP Mini Digital Trail. I don' think they even sell it any more and the new ones will probably have better quality for just as cheap. For me the trigger speed is the most important. 1 sec or less is preferred when looking for a new camera
