I'm glad it worked out for Tobias, he seem like such a genuine and nice person and an amazing artists and vocalist.

I'm a Christian and believe in live and let live. Being Christian should never be forced, it should be a welcoming of the receiver, a free will decision. It’s bad people who disengenuously preach the Gospel. No wonder people get turned off, even angry/offended. So that being said, I owe my peace and love to Christ, who died to give it to me. Btw, I'm not a lover of some of the lyrics, but the instrumentals/arrangements are catchy. A proven talent.

if you cant hear the brilliance in most of Forges compositions you are really fucking deaf. no wonder they are doing big stadion shows... much respect, him coming from simple roots playing in swedish DM bands and so on... hail from austria!

I've seen that band evolve since opus. Anybody that's been around that long knows it was a crazy ride. Now they have reached the point where it's just over-saturated, but that happens with every legendary band. I think Tobias is going to end up like David Bowie and pretty much be respected throughout his whole career.

@nihilkissedthegoat Oh yeah, your old man a doom fan too lol that's how I heard about them. A bunch of doom metal blogs on Facebook were posting about them. The image and Elizabeth is what hooked me. I thought they were just going to be regular dudes dressed like typical metal heads. Definitely took me by surprise that they had an actual gimmick.

@@ShaoKahnsCousinI was surprised at how not heavy they were based on how they looked. I had seen them in my guitarworld magazines for years, but never listen to them until 2020. Saw them with Volbeat 2021 and been hooked ever since.

He’s as good as they come. Can’t wait for my next ritual!

I’ve listened to ghost more then a year and his songs is just awesome

I think he is a pretty interesting person and he’s very different from what I have seen. He sort of feels more real than anyone who I have listened to. Usually when I hear a lot of rock stuff, I sort of feel disconnected, but I can relate a lot to him especially with the whole ‘religion getting shoved in your face’ type thing.

He was part of crashdiet before they were famous. They kick ass

1:50 to my knowledge he’s not a Satanist, but he doesn’t like the church(I forgot what source said this but that’s where I read it from). And the music video HE IS is basically making fun of the church to my knowledge if anyone can correct me on that. But yeah, based on what I’ve heard I think he’s more or less an atheist if not agnostic atheist (unless if anyone can correct me on that as well) Either way I still like ghost even as an atheist myself

63 year old rock guitarist here. I think Ghost are the best act to hit music in the last 20 years. They defy being put into a genre, too.

Sounds like Satan tricked him and took his brother in order to make his band famous.....well thats how the great deceiver works. I totally love his music but it kind of taints it knowing what he sacrificed to get there. Yikes.
