i feel so bad for her!! this is a classic case of Schizophrenia. She just needed help but in a way i felt that the media and some of her men really depicted her as crazy and she wasn’t. She had a disorder which could’ve been helped! Her case actually tells me how having untreated schizophrenia for so long can end up being like. RIP🙏

My mother is suffering from schizophrenia . Noone can understand the pain that I faced having an schizophrenic mother. I totally depended on a person who is mentally retarded , a person whose every action and decision are based on hallucination. It put a very negative impact in my mind . I went into severe depression since my childhood. All my relatives are laughing and mocking on us . My life has become a joke for them . I am still in a depression. My mother's sickness and my relatives 's behaviour broke me from inside. I always pray to God that please save us from this disease.

Goodness there's someone with whom I can totally relate, my mom has schizophrenia too and even while writing this, it giving me chills , I hope you're doing well and taking care of your mom and yourself, I can understand the childhood trauma you must've gone through cuz it's the same for me , literally no one can understand this except the one's who have actually gone through this even the relatives don't care the're just there to see the fun ....I can relate to each and every thing you said .... never thought I would meet someone who has gone though the same troubles as me .... please be positive and take care

You have my prayers and all the best wishes. Getting proper treatment and medication is critical for this illness. And it is very sad that in some countries it is not understood by people. The whole family suffers not just the patient. The family needs understanding and care, not mocking. I have been sole care taker of a close family member suffering from bipolar schizophrenia for 23 years now. Raised new born child mostly as single parent and made sure the illness of parent has less impact on his growth. Now he is working as software engineer. All the credit goes to god almighty for giving me the strength to carry on my duties. I am just a medium to carry out the duties. Living in USA has certainly helped as I was able to get access to proper medications. My family member got hospitalized many times. As of now she is taking medications and doing fine. But it requires daily vigilance.

This shows how much is mental health important for everyone.

The scripting and the narration was perfect! I feel sorry for people who suffer from mental health issues and refuse to take provided help from their closed ones. (I was heavily depressed last year, but somehow I pushed myself to talk to my parents and teachers. They helped me to gain positivity back and let me renovate myself) Anyways, I look forward to seeing more such real life stories from you:)

Meri bhi mother ko pehle lagta tha ki ye sab mere bahane hain doosro ko blame karne ke. Kaafi mental breakdown hue, kitni baar uncontrollably Rona aa chuka tha tab ek din unhone seriously meri baat suni. Kaafi cheezein to shayad problem thi bhi nahi jab unhone usko apni tarah se explain Kara. Us din unhone mera moral boost Kara aur doosre kya sochte hai, is baat ki fikr band karne ko kaha. I'm a teenager to is age mein log mere baare mein kya sochte hain, ye baat bahut insecure karti thi mujhe... But ab achha lagta hai ki atleast logo ki baato ka jawab Dene ke liye mere parents mere aage khade honge.

Exact same case of mental illness is shown in the movie 'Phobia' Played by Radhika Apte where she is afraid to even come out of her home thinking that someone is conspiring to kill her Some harsh instances may have taken place with Parveen babi too that might have affected her faintly

This was sadly chilling but so so well scripted and narrated. Would totally be hooked to this kind of content too coming from you guys!

Very well done video about one of my biggest female idols in Hindi cinema. Only Zeenat Aman equaled my infatuation with and admiration of Parveen Babi. It is a heart-wrenching tragedy how Parveen’s life panned out and then suddenly ended so pitifully. I remember being brought to tears when I heard of her premature passing. May Parveen Babi’s departed soul rest eternally in peace!

I think Amitabh Bachchan is the main reason for Parveen Babi film career downfall, he used her like a use & throw tissue paper.

In my childhood, my mother, who was really a fan of Praveen babi, used to believe that she is dead, one day I saw an interview of Praveen Babi in newspaper and showed it to my mother, she couldn't believe it. Maybe there was even a rumor of her death in common public due to her sudden disappearance. I remember she said something similar about Amitabh bachhan in that interview. She literally died 2-3 yrs later

Never thought someone would make such a video on her, she was a queen.. But us samay mental illness ka kisiko kuch pta hi nahi tha, humein hi nahi pata rhta ta humein normal feel kyun nahi hota... Years pehle maine ek magazine shayad Filmfare me ek article padha ta about her life etc... then after years I watched woh lamhe on tv... tab main boht chhoti ti, tb lagta ta its a horror movie but jab samjh aaya tb bhi us movie se darr lagta h... I have a frn who told me about someone who suffered from this schizophrenia... its so scary how they live... I hope people understand their problems on time and get proper treatment... 🙁

we will never get to know the true story of parveen babi. she had a really tragic life. she was a very successful actress and she introduced the western ways in bollywood along with her contemporary zeenat aman. however, she started to slip into the abyss of madness gradually and people started dismissing her as being insane when she went public about amitabh bachchan trying to kill her.

A lot of people might not be interested in such videos but such detailed videos show these guys dedication for their channel

She was from a royal family. Matiyana cousins of nawab of junagadh. Gujarat. Her cousion brothet Bashirkhan wanted to marry her before she came to film industry but she refused. Bashirkhan through gentleman our family new him personally stayed bachelor till the last.

Hi from New Zealand. I grew up watching Praveen Babi movies. I found it so so sad that she went from being this gorgeous actress to someone who died alone. She was beautiful. It's a pity that she never found "the right one" who might have helped her. RIP Praveen Babi. You will never be forgetten amongst fans like myself and I'm sure thousands of others ❤

Parveen Babi and Zeenat Aman both look like real sisters. Interestingly, both were contemporaries in 1970s and both of them were equally credited for westernising the bollywood heroine for the first time. I wonder what Zeenat Aman has to say on her.

Please show more empathy. I like how informational the video is, but man, she suffered from Schizophrenia, a very very painful illness. Not only does Parveen Babi deserve our respect as a celebrated actress, but she also needs our love as someone who had a tough deal with life, love and sanity.
