NST, Arkansas has some nice eye candy. I must admit that I have YET to see anything even remotely sweet looking in Tennessee. I think they have a lot of old, crochety, fart bags that need to retire.

Trooper Byrd (Mad Max) is my favorite. But all these troopers are OUTSTANDING.

That's how it should be: No drivers license, no insurance & car will be towed. I love Trooper Parker's attitude. He doesn't take any BS. Arkansas Troopers are the best. Stay safe🇺🇸

What part of “put your hands on the car” do they not get? Answer is apparently “none”. There is no way he did not know those tags were expired and that he didn’t have insurance. This is why insurance rates are so high for those who obey the law…..they have to cover those who don’t have insurance. Each time I was involved in an automobile accident the person at fault did not have insurance so my insurance paid for the repairs to my automobile. When an automobile has expired, and/or no license plate and/ or no insurance the automobile should be towed and not released until the automobile is tagged and insured. The trooper did a great job!

I agree, if we all didn’t pay for insurance and drivers license and suspended tags, we would all be rich and it would a derby of bumper cars with no one with insurance. How much back in time we would go. Instead of hanging out all day they should each have 2 jobs a day. Pay taxes, get right with the local town to get all your driving things and then you can enjoy driving

@GenX1969 nope.. if there is insurance and registration issues ... all that has to be cleared up before the vehicle will be released .. the towing fee alone is probably 150..

@@OG-ROB nope, not in Hot Springs. Last year I was pulled over, had a warrant for FTA for driving on suspended license, went to jail, truck towed. It took a week for me to find someone with a valid license to help me get it out, they picked me up and took me there to pick it up and dude at the tow yard just asked me what truck it was and looked at my I.d. And gave me the keys. I was so mad because I could have just picked it up the first day and saved 200 buck!

Another great one liner from ASP. Trooper Sheldon, "You're a special kind of stupid aren't you?" As we saw later he was. I would not mess with Trooper Sheldon! He will whip your A** as he said!!! Nobody does it better than ASP!!! BTW. I LOVE the pics at the end!!!!! Such a neat bonus!!

For the most part, Hot Springs is a beautiful town with tons of history. It was actually the first town in the nation to have federal legislation passed against bribing officials and officers.

Yeah because the Mob owned the town. It was Vegas before Vegas was a thing. Neutral territory for all Cosa Nostra Families. They all went to the bath houses for R&R. Back before that legislation passed Hot Springs PD would inform the mafiosos when Prohibition Agents or FBI were about to head into town.

Good catch! Note. Did you notice ST stopped in turn left only lane with solid white line on right side. Wich means stay left. Proceeds forward turns across solid white line into next lane. Just a question. If the ST was stopped, in the far right lane and I rolled up to the same intersection in the turning left only lane. Then decided I needed to go straight, turn blinker on,cross over solid white line to get into the straight through lane ahead of ST. Wonder if that would give a reason to be stopped? Just an observation.

Equipment mounted to the car is picking up vehicles going by if you notice. Noises alert to infractions left me speeding, or tag readers!! At least that’s what I have been told but plan to check the validity of it!

@@user-peach408 That is legit, they have both a radar that detects speed even while they are moving and they also have a system that finds expired tags without the officer actually typing it in to see if the tag is expired.

I respect our Arkansas State troopers. This trooper is awesome. I wish I could say the same about the city police in Hot Springs. I was told by the now chief of police there that they do not tow a car if the driver has no DL, expired taps and no insurance. They let ",some" continuously do this until it's a revolving door in and out of court. I guess it's who you are. Absolutely No respect for the city police.

Dude was wrong asking for everybodies ID IMHO. Most states and SCOTUS say that the officers issue is with the driver in a traffic stop situation. I mean, he can ask and if they give them up, that’s on them. But I doubt he has the law to back him up. Probably end up with a PO’D COP though…whaddaya do?

The trooper was well within his rights to ask for the ids. All the passengers who willingly handed them over didn’t know their rights. If you waive you rights voluntarily you lose the right to complain later.

He ask to see if anyone’s license was valid so they could drive the car to prevent towing. No one had a valid license so it will be towed. He wasn’t asking for no reason, he was trying to help him. Stop the negative!!
