Traeger Smoked Ham | Smoked Ham On A Traeger Pellet Grill

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In today's video we are talking smoked ham, but this isn't just any smoked ham! this is a honey peach glazed double smoked ham cooked on a pellet grill! If you haven't smoked a ham on your pellet grill, it couldn't be easier! I started off with a spiral cut ham that had already been smoked, but of course a little double smoke on a ham never hurt anyone, and using a pellet grill made this cook so easy! I highly recommend you give this double smoked ham recipe a try, and as always you can use any cooker for this recipe! The taste on this double smoked ham is amazing and the honey peach glaze truly makes it absolutely wonderful! If there is one smoked ham recipe you try this year, make it this one!
Prep:
-Remove smoked ham from packaging and wipe dry with paper towel.
-Slather ham with mustard. For this recipe I used Buzzed Beer Mustard from PS Seasoning. It's a Hot Honey Ale mustard that paired absolutely amazing with this double smoked ham! (Link Below).
-Season your ham with SuckleBusters Honey BBQ Rub (Link below).
-Transfer to small cooking rack (Link below).
-Insert MEATER+ probe to make monitoring temps easy! (Link below).
-Mix up the spritz which consists of 2 cups of Minute Maid Peach and 1 1/2 cups of water.
The Cook:
-To cook this delicious honey peach glazed double smoked ham set the pellet grill to 275º. If you're not using a pellet grill just run whatever pit you're cooking on to 275º.
-Let the ham smoke, and after an hour spritz the ham with the peach spritz. Repeat this process every 45-60 minutes.
-Once the ham reaches 120º internally, it's time for the first glaze. Pour the honey peach glaze over the ham and using a brush completely cover the double smoked ham with your honey peach glaze. Be sure to get the glaze in all the nooks and crannies for that peachy goodness.
-Continue smoking the ham until it reaches 130º and then glaze one more time with the honey peach glaze.
-Once the ham reaches 140-145º internally, remove from the smoker and let rest 30 minutes before slicing.
-After a 30 minute rest, slice, eat, and enjoy your easy honey peach glazed double smoked ham!
As always, I hope you enjoyed this video! If you did, be sure to LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, and RING THAT BELL so you don't miss my next video! I truly appreciate all of you!

@@AshKickinBBQ Lol. You're definitely doing me a favor, not my gut tho. Haha. Everything has been awesome. I'm just having trouble on the hot and fast turkey. Twice I tried they turned out great it's just I ended up having to turn down to 300° as it was starting to cook way too fast and burn on bottom. I'm starting to wonder if my pitboss 1100 pro doesn't like temps above 300 and jumps around alot. It's pushing me even closer to pulling the trigger on the 1600 with that PID. I've been looking at a few but I like the most bang for my buck. Lol

Well in order to have a double smoked ham you would need to smoke it. You can do it in an oven, but I don't think it'll be as good IMO.

Approximately 3 hours and 5 minutes. It’s going to vary on what size ham you get. This was about 10 pounds. Just cook it to 140° IT and you’ll be good. You’re just reheating it.
