This trainer is a TEACHER! There is a difference! Most trainers don't teach...they just set up cones! This guy is dope! Working my son out...and I'm glad I landed on his video's.

Exactly. I told my son to actually listen to what he's saying. No coach/trainer he has had has come anywhere close to this level of detail.

love this build of progression. you can see him learning as the reps continue, I never knew the details behind shifting a defender as far the feet moving and chest/shoulder reads. Great work!!

This video helped me to know when to change direction or use counter moves against defense. It showed me that I should do a counter move to change direction when my chest is facing the defenders chest or when he cuts me off.

Great work Tim! Never thought of the chest and shoulder movement as far as getting past your defender. Also the keeping the ball by your shoulder on a lay-up. Very detailed

Yo sometimes it's good to change the pace of your dribble...I used to play semi pro soccer and a lot of the great players would vary in pace to throw you off! just a note...look at messi dribble.

I struggle with changing direction and beating defenders of the dribble. Everytime i drive, i get pushed away or slow down. I cant see where my defenders chest is, so it is hard for me to counter/change direction.

its just to throw the defender off balance. you always want to keep them off balance, your feet control the defense, you can throw an entire defense off with good foot work

Basics to defense in most man defense other than staying between the man and the rim is beating the man to the spot. If you see chest there they beat you to the spot. If you see shoulder they are still trying to get there so you get low and blow past

Why cant you change the direction you see shoulder? If you see shoulder and change direction the defender has to turn his whole body to keep up with you. At that moment you are already by him. I mean you can also keep going forward but why not also change direction and the step back or somethin. This is a little strange. Bc coaches always saying that when the defenders commits to one side you go the other. Basic
