Very good video, I've just posted one on the same subject (much briefer) when I was a hobby greenwoodworker ( around 1993) I'd been lucky to spend time with Bill Hogarth and Owen Jones.

Thank you so much for posting this video. I had the pleasure of meeting Stella in 2003 and have one of her oak swill baskets. She was a great teacher and I still want to make a mare. Thanks for the photo of that as well. My best to the family. Edi King

Beautiful baskets from a beautiful and skilled lady. Most of our oak baskets in the USA are made with round bottoms and are quite beautiful and strong.

The story of the tramp? I there a way to de-laminate the oak, without a boiler?

Hi. I'll reupload another one with an 80s hits soundtrack should I?

@@wkenyon Sir... You miss my point. The video was A1. I watched it 3 times but the sound level needed lifting to a higher level. Your sarcasm really needs a little attenuation. Had there been 80's pop music (or any era for that matter), I wouldn't have got past 5 secs instead of viewing it 3 times and as I bookmarked it, possibly more in the future.

Hmm, yeah, it's hard to get good sound quality. I've had that problem on video's I've made. I don't know how to fix it. Sorry.
