Hi. This made me remember my childhood days. I used to watch my grand mother prepare the oil from scratch. From frying to grinding to boiling. We used to use “kal gondu “ to grind. The residue “garasalu” was smeared on our bodies and given a nice hot bath. Thanks for the video.

The extent to which chemicals have penetrated our lives and become such an integral part of our lives is just very sad and scary. The best thing is to not buy into the false narrative of all modern things being superior and use traditional methods and foods.

Is there another method to extract the oil I mean like coconut oil where you cold press it? Can castor oil be extracted by cold pressed method? If so then what's the difference between cold pressed and boiling oil?
