I had heard of lolo buns before I went to Fiji, so I asked the hotel chef if they had them - no, and being Indian Fijian, he didn’t know how to make them. The Fijian kitchen hand did, and offered to make them for me the next day - on her day off!!! Loved them!

All the continents crossed, and I think Jin is enjoying an island the most❣️🌈☀️🚴🏽‍♀️ But it would take quite a lot to not enjoy Lolo Bun(s)‼️😅😎

I make lolo bun for my kids in Australia. They both half Fijian and they love it. My mother makes it for them when they visit her than I had to learn to make it cause my mum moved back to Fiji from Australia. Now I make it all the time for them when they visit me

This is ideal life to make human beings happy. Close to nature. But unfortunately we are moving away from it. Thank you jin for giving a glimpse of real happiness.

Thank you for the host my Naita, what a better way to promote Fiji and the simple life we live in. You have showed the real Fijian life our visitors were all daring to see...they all visit our shores for that purpose...I wish to commend the family for an excellent reception, a visit on the beach, fishing, gutting of octopus, coconut climbing, preparation of "Lolobuns" and lemon leaves and grass leaves for morning tea.. wow that speaks a lot and all goes with explanation...A visitor in need and was treated with dignity and respect....Thank you..and a very big vinavakalevu to the family for the wonderful service .....

The buns looked so good. Interesting way to bake them. Your tent site by the house looking at the Ocean, that was awesome looking in the background on the video.

Banilolo yummy delicious nutritious recipe most families in Fiji islands bake boiled method for decades hahahahahahaha. Yeah used to eat this at home in 90s but mostly we use the kerosene stove or the electric or the gas. Yet the best is firewood respect

I observed Fiji kids are well behave and Fiji people are so nice. They invite stranger to stay and eat at their home. I heard Fiji island, but never imagine how pretty it is. I hope one day I can go to visit the island. I never see this kind of cooking either. The way Fiji applies the coconut to their food is the same way as SouthEast Asian countries like Cambodia, Thailand, Lao or Burma do the same thing. Love watching Jin's travel video. I admire her strength to bike around the World. From your new fan in America!
