TRADITIONAL CHEBE ROUTINE | Is It Really for Hair Growth?

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

OPEN ME PLEASE *
Heyyyyy Beauties!!! I am always glad when you guys can join me for one of my Healthy Journey videos! You guys know I am always opened to trying new (natural) ways to help promote overall health and strength. I've heard about Chebe many times and finally got a chance t try out the powder. I want you guys to know this isn't something I woke up one day wanting to try out, I've been researching (reading reviews, watching tutorials/documentaries on the people of Chad Republic). The beauty and pride the people have and love they put into this mixture made it extremely easy for me to want to try!
I am not doing this as a challenge, this is now part of my regimen. I will be doing it for the next 4 weeks straight, then I'll take a break during my vacation, then I will return.

Great video! I've been using chebe since Sept 2018. It saved my hair after beating breast cancer 5 years ago. My hair grew back but couldn't get past collarbone because the ends would break no matter how I moisturized and protective styled. Cancer treatment just left it too weak! Chebe was the perfect answer. I'm now below bra strap anticipating my first silk press after 1 year of use! BTW, I'm 58 years old!

Good tutorial on Chebe. Thank you. Loved, "Chebe is not for everyone - but it is for me!" As a person with hip length hair, I also noticed the many aspects of the routine that Chad women use which help them retain hair which have nothing to do with the Chebe product. They do not believe that long hair is impossible, and they are not following or promoting racist hair myths which lead to disappointment which focus on a product, which either involves buying a magic pill or using methods which damage our hair. Second, the Chad women have a supportive community. Third, they have a healthy hair routine they follow faithfully. Fourth, the routine uses moisturizing techniques on the hair ends. Fifth, they use protective styling. We could reap the benefits if more of us simply followed the Chad women in practicing a healthy hair routine that fit our lifestyle. I believe you will be successful because you have the confidence to do the research to figure out what works for you, and follow your routine no matter what anyone else says or thinks, who have not done the research or won't put in the work over time.

I can vouch for chebe personally. I've used it for the last few months, but not as involved as making a mask, but implementing it in my regular hair moisturizing/oiling regime(as well as while it's in faux locs). My hair had stopped breaking, gotten longer, seems to be of great help to my hair☺. I'm very pleased.

Hi Tasha, really interested to know how you implement it in your daily hair care. As i am quite lazy with doing anything with my hair, apart from doing 4 big braids with extensions. Take them out after about 7-12 days depending on how rough they look. Redo and wash maybe monthly or a little over a month. I might be able to do what the lady in the video did once a week for the first couple of weeks, but knowing myself, i won't be able to keep up the effort after then. I get alot of shedding and i have very fine low porosity hair. I look forward to hopefully getting a reply. Thanks in advance

I do the same thing but with hair grease or olive oil. I only do it on the weekends tho, bec I wear a wash n go or braid out to work. I barely shed and my hair grows quite fast and evenly. I had an Indian friend in high school and I was always jealous about how long her hair was. she said all she does is oil her hair at night and I didn't understand that she was just giving the protection her scalp naturally produces to the ends of her hair so it wouldn't break off. I use hair grease sometimes because it's more affordable and I do like to do this about twice a week before bed even to maintain my twist out. As long as you don't slap the hair grease on your forehead it won't clog the pores if you're just using it on your ends....

@@nicgg510 I have a a looser texture than a 4c......and I wish people with 4c hair had their hair type celebrated. I see countless videos of people with my texture or looser putting ALL types of GOD KNOWS WHAT on their hair While selling pipe dreams to people who have 4c hair who may subconsciously want a looser texture because they live in a reality where looser textures are praised & their 4C hair is trashed. Me and these people with looser textures could put cocobutter in our hair or pour Coca-Cola on it, because of its texture and the fact that the hair has a signature curl pattern the weight of putting anything on it will loosen its curl and somewhat define it That's the truth that NO ONE talks about

Then there is the chébé oil which is oil infused (3+ weeks) all in it. I also have a pomade that I made which is just chébe and oil mixed together. I think I might wanna switch up my routine and make it simpler

Ameliaa J The reason your hair feels more dry to begin with when using coconut oil is because your hair already has to much protein, it like a protein overload for your hair, and if your hair has to much protein that can cause shedding and breakage so be carful with adding to much protein to your hair.
