Agreed -- Najee has been rock solid and has actually improved -- meaning he has transitioned his game to being more of a traditional downhill back instead of trying to hurdle tacklers. My sense is the Steelers declined the option so they could give Najee a fair second contract. It's likely he has 2-3 good years left. However, I would not sign him for more than $7-8m per year for no longer than three years.

Sounds like the narratives others are making about what the Steelers are “going to do” are being falsely attributed to Khan and the organization. It’s all 100% speculation. Unless we hear directly from the people involved themselves, why get worked up about the unknown?
