I remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I was dumb and I didn't understand it. I studied and learned and now I know how it works. Got back into crypto early in 2023 with 10k and I’m up with 128k in a short period of time .This comment serves as motivation for all those who have invested and continue to invest in cryptocurrencies with so many losses, do not give up, cryptocurrencies can change your life. Do your best to connect with the right people and you will surely see changes.

I'm admittedly bummed that I didn't go with my gut instinct & buy bitcoin few months back when it was $20k - $25k range. is it too late to get in and make profits? i have set aside $450k to get fully invested this year

i don't think it is. Once bitcoin crosses it's all time high, it becomes the new bottom. Anything under 69k is a good buy. It's still advisable to work with a fiduciary advisor instead of relying solely on speculations

The only issue you might have is the fear of missing out, just like everyone else. A good number of people discredit the effectiveness of financial advisors in exploring new markets, but over the past 10years I’ve had a financial advisor consistently restructure and diversify my portfolio/expenses and I’ve made over $400K in gains… might not be a lot but i'm financially secure.

I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks and made about $246k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded again and now I am rounding up close to a million. .

I feel mayne on the XRP thing. Its one of those coins where its stuck around so long, hasn't gone to 0 remains a top 3 top 5 asset in mindshare and mcap but stays pretty flat with lots of overhead. Pretty sure like 70% of the owners are waiting for some catalyst, like a global agreement for settlement onchain where XRP is poised to have use in that aspect and so the 'potential' is trillions in mcap. But that's a unicorn story.

True, if you want to practice thru papertrade, do it in a realistic margin so you wont be surprised if you trade with your real money.

1:05:00 - me I did i bought at $3.5k and sold at $59k I held XRP for yrs .. and earlier when BTC broke ATH and ETH also approached ATH and XRP was -0.50%, that was the last straw, I swapped my bag for ETH

Great episode! A few things stuck out to me: 1) Even the best lose. We all know this but every time I hear someone on your episode whose been successful talk about the losses it helps me push on. 2) This is a business. Sit down and think about the numbers - what return are you looking for? Once you know this, then execute the trade and leave it be till stop is hit or TP is hit. I often have same mindset Trader Mayne talked about early on in his career of wanting to see it go up just a little bit more or closing a loss out early only to see it reach TP. I need to be better at accepting the RR when entering trades. If I'm long then know I have bought a contract at X price and have already accepted I will Sell it at X price if my thesis is wrong.
