Your right about the age. As we grow up we learn more but we are still that kid inside. Older versions of our younger shaves

Living in the US, fords that have year-round water flowing across them are rare here (I've encountered all of 3 having driven in 42 states so far), so this is fascinating! Thanks for making this channel.

We get them here all the time because the infrastructure in the UK is terrible and cannot deal with anything more than a drizzle so any road can become a ford without you ever expecting it!

Lad with the 240 case was definitely an owner driver 🤣👌🏻

i like how the weight in front of some tractors is sticking thru the water splash, it looks so cool. new attraction idea - put something further in front of the car and put some bright LEDs on it, then drive thru water splashes at higher speed, so you'd only see that thing with LEDs sticking thru. at night this would look amazing

It would be nice to see it from inside cabs from those tractors...

Got to love those JD drivers. No thought to wiring, Pipes, Hoses and evacuation of grease. Long term this powering through may not be advantages although fun at the time. That water pressure is crazy powerful and will get deep in there.

The boys in the tractors are having more fun than anything. One even backed up so he could hit the water harder.. lol!!!! Poor cars can't do it, not even some SUVs have made it through without failing. I know those tractors are tough, as my brother-in-law's family own green, red and yellow tractors on their farms.. yes, farms. My BIL has 4 other brothers that also farm within 120 kms of each other. Here, you know it's spring when the tractors come to life and start spreading all the gold the farmers saved up over the winter. Those cows can sure make a lot of gold for them.. lol!!!

Quite surprised to see 6Rs without weights on forage wagons and large tippers. Usually they have between 0,5t to 1,5t weights here for that, for better grip.

If the trailer is empty it makes no sense to use weight on the tractor.

it's like a local amusement "ride". it's also only place on the road where people cheer to get splashed and get soaked. if this happened elsewhere, people would probably sue the drivers. it's nice to see some drivers go really fast to make it more interesting, they're a good sport. sometimes its nice to see stuff like this, rather than watching some scamming and war videos that seem to be new trend these days

Porsches are built damn tough, good chance it will be fine. They expect their custumers to thrash the cars over curbs and stuff.

@@nilz6432 Ehm, the engine is not expected to be mistreated or to have water inside. Modern engines want to be warmed up and cooled down properly or you ruin even a porsche engine quickly. As well, no engine likes water, especially a high compressd engine like an NA Porsche engine. 😉

I like these videos as well and it is fun to watch but you can only hope that a child doesn't start to try crossing the road in the wrong moment. The speed these tractor fly by... They couldn't stop or even see it while splashing up the water. I like driving fast myself but there are places where you should think about what could happen especially when small children are involved.

@@IronWarrior95 Okay, I guess you were born as an adult. Kids do dump things. They can't tell the speed as good and just react different. You can tell a kid a 100 times not to run after a ball which is rolling on the to street but sometimes they just react without thinking. Even enough adults do this. I guess the tractor drivers got teached to drive resonable at such locations and did they do it? There you have your awnser. I like to drive fast myself. I'm a german, I know the Autobahn. Even there you have to watch out the unresonable actions from other drivers. But where kids are involved, you have to be way more careful. You don't stop a tractor like a car as well. A kid likes the water splash and runs out to far.

imagine they having a snow plow attached on front, that would splash everyone so bad, but also give the best show ever!

At @7:42 - The 2 cars reversing down there, where were they going? And a bit earlier than that, the tractor driver blasting his air horn - If I was coming the other way in my car and I could see a big friggin' tractor coming towards me, at that speed with a fully loaded trailer behind him and throwing up that much water - The one thing that definitely wouldn't come in to my mind is "I have the right of way here, you (the tractor driver) have to stop and wait until I have crossed first". / B.

Counter weights most probably.

The name of the place is Rufford A Ford is where a small river crosses a road. Rufford is a British heritage site with a big hall, lakes and land for everyone to use and appreciate. The Ford is part of the estate and area
