Looking to get one to use when i paint to get the fumes out

That 30inch fan looks a bit small for your garage but depending on several factors after watching your video... looks like the right fit..

You're right, I've since moved to a 42" belt drive.

I bought a county line 36" drum belt driven fan and I'm pretty disappointed that the fan blows most of it's air off to the sides of the fan instead of directly in front of the fan....it's like a void of air in front of the fan

Make sure it's not running out of air due to it's surroundings. I ran into something similar in my garage door but if I move it outside or all the way inside and away from the door, I can feel a ton of air anywhere in front of it. Try it outside once to see if it's better.

If it doesn't have enough air to move being such a big fan in a small space, the fan will actually suck the same air it's blowing out the front around the sides and into the back which makes it feel like it's not blowing out the front.

Funny that you mention the 36" because I actually returned my 30" for the belt drive 36" about a week after I uploaded this video and I absolutely love it.

@@Abraxxas1127 So if you put it into a corner or against the wall, it won't blow air? What if you draw a long ventilation pipe from outside to right behind it, would it blow the air then?

It’s the motor area a the area before the blades actually start. All fans have the issue. Just smaller ones it’s harder to notice since that area is a lot smaller
