Thanks Brother... Color is god but need more maintenance, it gets dirty every now and then and cleaning may be a hassle. Low beam was changed to Auxbeam LED, working fine til now. Hill assist working good too.

Yes....I used to take my maruti 800 even into the farm lands ...no ABS, no Traction nothing....lighter the weight of the vehicle easier to pass off any terrain.

Two reasons for this: 1. Experience of driver 2. Weight of car Heavy cars like Nexon or Ecosport can have a hard time in some terrains even with an experienced driver. My dad has taken his santro to Rohtang pass twice, but while driving his friend's xuv 300 struggled on some areas in the same route.

Nicely explained about traction and it's control by car. Now I have question about breaking during traction. When traction control breaks one wheel then there is chance to turn the cars because only one wheel rotate. How to control this specially in hills where slight turn is very risky to fall in valley.

It does not brake the tractionless wheel completely but reduces the rotation on it and sensor senses other wheels rotation and distributes power according to that. Generally, there are no issues and your car remains in control on normal and rought road but situation goes bad on snow and sandy road so you have to be extra cautious. We may have to take the decision whether to go forward or not in that condition.

TCS will kick in only in conditions where one wheel completely looses traction which will be mostly in off roads where we can't do High speed, so shouldn't be an issue more over tcs gets switched off as soon as the wheel gets traction In case of High speed ESP will have sensors which constantly check if there car is moving in different than the direction which the driver is trying steer tcs will apply brakes to outer most wheels until the car comes back to stable state.

Harrier has different Terrain response modes but Nexon does not have it unfortunately :(. It will go anywhere with you for sure, very impressive!!

100% with some precautions. Always make sure keep an eye on humps to avoid underbody hit. If situation is unavoidable then make sure to take on the hit on the frame instead of chamber and other parts 👍

Sorry sir but you are totally wrong in your point that TCS gives extra power to the car. As the name suggests it's 'Traction CONTROL System' not Traction Increase System. When the car feels that one of the tyres is not getting traction properly or it's moving freely, car cuts the power to that tyre to prevent wheel spin. Now there is limited amount of power supply to that particular tyre until it gets proper traction. TCS is very tricky to use. It prevents you from getting stuck in snow, slush situations but if comes a situation when you are stuck and TCS could not help, you have to actually SWITCH OFF the TCS to get full power supply to all tyres. For eg if you are stuck in snow/slush and TCS is active you might won't come out because of lesser power delivery. That is why there is 'TCS Off' option in almost all cars which comes with TCS. Please do a proper research before making video !!!!

After brake is applied to even the rotation, it's so certain that brake will be released to get the momentum and when brake is released suddenly you certainly feel extra power on the tyres.(I again know that power is not given by TCS but that feature of brake and release surely helps get extra momentum). I agree that I could have choosen the words wisely 👍 and do appreciate your feedback. And I know that TCS is just a feature not a source to generate power. Keep sharing things which can be helpful to all 👍

I'm using Ford Freestyle since 2.5 years which has TCS ,HLA and ARP when other car owners probably did not even know what these features are and since I'm from Himachal so also has done off-road in FS several times.

@@RidiculouslyAmazing That extra momentum is nothing but torque. Or may be the other case as I said earlier. When TCS is active it cuts power UNTIL the stuck tyre gets proper traction. And the moment tyre gets traction engine supplies full power to the tyre which is felt by you as extra power. It's life shifting from city drive mode to sports mode.

For RWD vehicles traction control is a must on off-road. In FWD traction control is a kind of a gimmick. An experienced driver who knows how to control throttle response can control wheel spin and get over the situation.

Sir with all due respect I feel it's more of a unofficial Tata channel. We have many good cars in India apart from Tata. Why only focus on Tata cars. I mean traction control is present in many cars.

Vinod ji is owning Nexon diesel hence he is driving it day in and day out. If other manufacturers will give him cars to test then he ll do review of other cars long term performance as well. Share his channel to more people so that his subscribers increase and he gets all newly launched cars for review and add more staff in his channel . Cheers
