This video is a test to see if the shadowbanning that collapsed the previous two uploads is still happening. Whats really curious is those other uploads failed at a time just prior to the US election. My main viewer base is Trump states in the US. You know... speaking of Thomas Factory Errors, I remember a time I was in a Walmart in the Thomas section, and found a TrackMaster 2 Racing Thomas (from The Great Race) that had 3 wheels. One of the front wheels was gone... I feel kind of stupid not purchasing it. ☹️

I would love to go to a toymate, their Thomas section has to be one of the best in Australia! A well stocked Thomas section is as rare as a factory error item these days lol

I actually had a cars 1 version of that lightning McQueen from 2006. and something I love about Mattel is how they re release these really obscure toys when a new cars film comes out. but obviously it’s not the same toy they look different since lighting got all skinny in 3 but they might be the same model besides paint. But the one I had I remember had a lot more wheel and facial expressions to change in and out.

The Disney cars toys are always done in a lovely way. There's lots of effort to put all the details into the toys and to keep them fairly close to what you see in the films. Unfortunately that can't be said about the Thomas toys. And this confuses me much.

Mattel makes both Thomas and cars toys. new Thomas toys are so awful and I’m so confused about how they changed all the series’s of the toys like wood and push alongs. Yet when cars 3 came out it was a renaissance for the collectors after 4 years of dry and awful releases. and the renaissance is still going on and it’s great. Just wish we could have that with Thomas.

I talk about the 'Thomas Triangle' in another video but no one is watching that obviously. Maybe it's like this, Mattel make the Disney Cars toys for the Disney company, they would have the final say in what the product looks like. Mattle do an incredible job making Hot Wheels awesome yet seemingly don't pay much attention to Thomas toys. We have all watched the Thomas toys go down a very slippery slope over the past 10 years yet the past 4 years has seen this slope get steeper. It's weird we now look back to the very short lived Thomas Adventures as 'classic' it was the last variant of the 'Take N Play / Take Along' style Thomas toys. Honestly the 'Metal Engine' we have now is not doing it for me. But if your a little 3 year old it's going to be the most amazing Thomas toy ever.

@@leokimvideo yeah the decline in Thomas toys was hard to watch I was much younger when it began and I loved the idea of the trains climbing these super vertical climbs and being faster but as I aged I hated it and your videos kinda set me straight but I guess Mattel did do a good job at getting the younger fans there main democratic to be interested and bug there parents but I did not like the shorting of wagons and tenders and hated how all trains had 2 wheels something I loved about fisher price is the way they gave tender engines three wheels and Edward all his wonky wheels when that was taken away I was crushed but the kids didn’t seem to care

Man it brings me back seeing these videos man i don’t care how old I get or if you ever quit KZread you’ll always be my favorite KZreadr man

I'm so used to layers of chaos in 2020 it's become the new norm.

My issue is that there is no toy stores around me anymore. The nearest Toys R Us closed down a few years ago and plus, their toys were way too expensive than other stores not centred around them. I wish we had another toy place again.... As an 18-year-old, I will say, I still get giddy around the toy section.

Yes, all KMarts have reduced to 1/2 a cell. I have found out this is paid space. So if the brand isn't selling no reason to pay for huge areas to have product to sell. Yet Target's are doing the reverse. I went to the Erina Fair HUGE Toymate and it's the resting place for old Thomas WOOD and layers of Thomas Adventures. All the Adventures stuff is now heavily discounted.

I know that there are mistakes and defects in all products, but for them to be so common that there is an entire industry centered around searching-for, collecting, and selling these mistakes, leads me to believe that these mistakes are far more common than I thought. Which speaks towards the low quality-control standards at these Chinese factories...where I'd imagine the punishment for a mistake would be fairly harsh...as is the punishment for failing to meet production quotas (which probably leads to the high number of mistakes).

😱 *OMG!!!* 😱 That’s a very rare item!!! And I really need to get my hands on a Push-along Original/RWS/Black/whatevertheheckitscallednow James. Cause, ya know, just gotta get your hands on a collectors item.

Great video as always. Another common error I have found In New Zealand has been trackmaster push along Paxton that has got Diesels face placed on it. I've seen a few of them. Might be something for you to look out for being a Diesel collector

I rarely see Paxton full stop. And Diesel sold pretty hard and well. Diesel is never a peg sitter.

Say Leo, what are your thoughts about Mattel rebooting Thomas into a 2D cartoon show? Alot of fans (including me) are hating the supposed new look and this could completely change the look of the toys in the future.

I need to go buy a bunch of push along. The wheels are great for TWR customs. I used them on my 4 wheeled Edward. And I’m putting an ertl frank shell on a custom TWR chassis.

Nice video Leo i’ve actually went to target a couple times and seen some factory errors before one was A Thomas in Gordon packaging and the other was the hyper glow station with a Thomas with a blue cab and coal i’ve also seen some push along engines that had more of a plain cardboard type of packaging Then the normal packaging it felt like cardboard with just the picture glued onto it but yeah anyways awesome video 10/10

Stupid question, but what camera do you use to record your in store footage? I noticed at times that the audio would suddenly get louder when you're talking, but then suddenly quiet again. Strangely enough it didn't seem to have any trouble picking up the music playing in the background.

I put filters on the audio to numb the background sounds. The phone I use would be adjusting the levels looking for signal. The audio is often chopped up to only hear voice and not background. Sadly the way I talk I'm often louder at the start of a sentence and go quiet as I talk. I would never get a radio career.

@@leokimvideo The phone I use to record my videos seems to have issues with sudden changes in audio volume. I've noticed in several of my videos the audio starts out somewhat quiet and then theres a sudden spike and things are a lot louder. I'm not sure how to rectify this issue other than connecting an external mic if that would even work.

While HiT Entertainment may not have done the Thomas show good, they did know how to make toys. I mean, why else was HiT Toy Company founded? Hit knew how to make a marketable show and toy. Plus, according to a KZreadr by the name of sidekickjason, hit toys had amazing customer service, meanwhile Mattel customer service is just "sorry, we have no current information at this time." While I may not have outgrown Thomas, I am definitely not someone who keeps track of the show and buys every toy anymore. But on the opposite spectrum, the sonic the hedgehog toys have actually gotten BETTER over time. Resuarus was alright, Toy Island just refused to make any new characters, so they lost the license after the Sonic X anime ended, and while jazwares had a lot of variety, knowing jazwares, the quality control was a word that rhymes with hit. TOMY was pretty good, but by the time they started to gain some steam, their contract expired. Now you look at Jakks Pacific's sonic line, and the sculpts, paint, quality, etc is actually great now. But riddle me this, why only after five times has sega's poster child finally gotten a good treatment in the toy world? And should Jakks buy Thomas' rights? Just one of the many mysteries of the world. With that being said, I love your videos, unlike google's stupid algorithm, and i think you are a legitimately great content creator. -Unus (i'm on my dad's account so that's why my profile name clearly isn't unus.)

Hey, leokimvideo I found a Hotwheels Thomas in a local supermarket and it was there all of a sudden but where i live Thomas toys have not been coming in the stores so idk if the stuff is getting bad on where i live or is it just lies? but about the Hotwheels Thomas, It was the only Thomas and it was close to the middle whatever those metallic poles are called but still i got it, it was really cheap.

KZread demonetized a bunch of them, I lost the appeals. If I win an appeal a video gets double demonetized. It's too risky doing those videos now. Biggest problem is KZread never explain where the issue lies when they pull the plug on a video. I should do legal action for the train wreck they caused on my channel.
