Nice to see neighbors helping. Sidebar: Since when did the ground outside become a floor?

I grew up in Houston during the 80s and 90s. And in the 80s, 90s, 2000s, honestly I remember just a handful of big weather events. I vaguely remember hurricane Alicia in 1983, then there was a big winter freeze in 1989, a big flood around 1994, tropical storm Allison in 2001, and then hurricane Ike in 2008. 5 big weather events over 3 decades. Now compare that with everything that's happened to Houston since 2015, the last 9 years. Memorial Day flood, Tax Day flood, hurricane Harvey, tropical storm Imelda, winter blizzard freeze storm of 2021, and I want to say there was another winter freeze storm around 2018....and now this. I'm sure I've missed something in the past 9 years.

Time to start rebuilding with the NEXT convective storm in mind. ‘Toe-nailing’ framing together just became obsolete and outright dangerous.

You need to check out H town elite gym in the Heights. Part of roof off/ a wall blown in. But none of the gymnasts were injured and the coaches and owners and GIRLS were amazing!!
