A “pilot switch” is a switch that lights up. Why in the world they felt the need to actually write “pilot” on it is a mystery that may never be solved.
it's pretty insane that when they made this box they would have never in their lifetime ever considered it being used like that

You can imagine the inventors over at maestro thinking ‘this will be an ideal compact automated accompanist for busy musicians.’ Decades later: let’s add distortion and rap verses. Job done. Love creative minds like your Andrew, flipping givens on their heads.
Someone likes the Beastie Boys.

“Back in the day” I used to scour flea markets and garage sales for weird, rare instruments too. Once I heard the most amazing percussion instrument being played and I RAN to find what t was. It was a kid dragging a shovel on cement. Turn THAT into a song, please.

Such a RAD idea for a video Andrew! You made that #RetroJunk sound FIRE! Sampling them really did the trick! 🤘
Love the personality on the vocals. Finally got to hear you kick some rhymes
Such a nice idea👏🏻, best series ever!
straight up made a death grips song
OH this was amazing! It was awesome how you were able to get that dinky and boring sound from the Rhythm King to be really interesting with only a simple Ableton effect. Everytime I see you working with synths I want to try it out but it's kind of daunting to event think about how to start.
Your music astounds me! Would looove to hear how you mix and master your tracks. Your sense of space in your mixes with still a huge bass just pleases my ears so. Tell us your mastering secrets!

I remember things like this being built into high end electric organs from back in the day. I think the 'pilot' verbiage is just to let you know that the switch also acts as a 'pilot light'

Hey Andrew, just wanted to let you know that Drum & Bass intermission was amazing! Much love :)
i was watching this with my three years old son, and he would burst in laughter every time you pressed that snare roll button
Get ahold of Wintergatan for this project, for real! They love weird DIY instruments.
Soooo loving this new series!! More more more
Dude! Your best song so far wtf?! I was going in to it with like “yeah he’s just gonna make som cool 808 style electro song” and then you dropped the sickest rap!
I watched this with 3D glasses and i travelled through time.
Andrew Huang = a bunch of genius melted into a single person
When you watch the latest video to find how much time went to creating that weird gear bloop, it'll make that much more satisfying to hear! Man great work!
That was possibly my favourite creation of yours at the end, loved it!!!
YES NEW SERIES ANDREW HUANG IS THE BEST
I will never understand how this guy only has 1.3million subs.
I would love to see you do something with that jazzaphone. I hope you have fun making this series!
Hi there, I love that you play Greek Bouzouki in the background. Really nice of you !!

Track was fire. Great video and series idea!
This video displays how important instrumentation is in incepting song ideas into a musicians mind. Also, further birthing music from that musicians creative ear. Crazy talent, totally Van Gogh, and such mad production skills that it's inspiring.
yoooo that was soo sick the song man insaneee the feeling I got
That shit's crazy! You should be way more famous.
Great new series! Looking forward to more.
Dude dope video. That was my favorite. Awesome
You can here this one in Sly - "In Time". Pretty nice track btw
"THIS IS THE CHA CHA" 😭😭😭
Love this series; this video was so dang good. Also I think 'Pilot' just means that it controls/pilots the power of the machine.
I CAN NOT WAIT FOR MORE OF THIS SERIES!! YESSS
