single best and most direct explanation of the mechanics i've seen 10/10
I feel like I am a new generation of capsuleer, exploring lost manuscripts for secret knowledge. Nevertheless, if y'all are still active, Thank you for these. They helped me tremendously.
One of the best lecturing videos around dealing with the matter & explaining some other involving mechanics aswell; short & precisely delivered. I point our new members to this masterpiece for well, 2 yrs already. Happy anniversary!
it is 2022 and this video is still referenced when talking about the subject of chance to hit and approaches. what a guide
an extremely good tutorial, thanks a lot mate
Very nice. I appreciate the detailed descriptions with the visuals from the video. It really helped me understand some concepts I was previously having trouble with.
A tutorial every newbro should watch. Well done!
best video I've seen dealing with optimal fall off sig sig resolution and spiraling thnx for putting this out
Excellent tutorial, a very clear explanation of a complex topic. More of the same please.
Finally an EvE video that has gotten aspect ratio right.
This is awesome info...freakin complicated, but still awesome! I did lol when you said something like..."and now this is where it gets a bit complicated" when it had already got complicated 5 mins earlier! :)
Great video and demonstration, suggesting to work in the test server would be a great idea as well to save all that isk!
This video guide is really helpful. I always recommend it to folks starting solo Frigate abyss.
You have a soothing voice..
This video is golden for a new player like me. Thank you
It's calculated separately for each gun, not the entire weapon group, so glancing blows for example are when you miss all but 1 gun etc
Great video, well put together, explained clearly and precisely, good job!
Thank you for such an awesome video! I've sent this to all members of my corporation to watch (as we are all fairly new)
Corp mate recommended this video, and it did not disappoint! many thanks.
Please sir, may we have some more? You almost have to have a Master's in Mathematics to understand all this, thanks for doing the math for us. As for me, the more I learn about turrets, the more I love my missiles :)
More videos Agony Unleashed! And thanks Azual, fantastic explanation!
Great info & nicely explained, Thanks
very well explained, and very good pictures/slides. Thumbs up
good work, looking forward to see more of the videos
Thats is the msot indepth tutorial of its kind I have seen on youtube. keep up the good work.
still helps to explain stuff in eve, even in 2019! Thanks for the great video!
awesome vid. i learned more about tracking watching this vid then playing the game.
although i knew much of the information that you explained, you gave a more indef explanation of the subject matter then i thought i knew
Outstanding video. Good basis for future learning process. Thank you.
Very solid advice for the new EVE player.
This is an amazing explanation.
phenomenal video, very good.
Thanks a bunch for this video, it really helped me better understand all the complications
Nice tutorial. Looking forward to participating in your classes.
Perfect explanation!
nice video man, very simple and well explaned indeed
This was a great watch and helped a lot, thanks. :)
Really useful tips, thanks!
the complexity of this game ......
O crap! I am playing EVE for 2 months... and until I saw this video, I did not know that you can direct your ship at any point in space with double click. Basic Tutorial by EVE -> FAIL!! Tutorial by Azual -> Thank You! And than you again.
excellent explanation, thank you
this is really helpfull, cleared alot of things for me, keep up the good work!
Great info!

well done!
very good video i wasn't expecting to learn much from this but i did and i thank you for the vid and ill keep an eye out for more if you upload :)
very nice. knew about this, but very good to refresh from time to time. for pvp beginners very informative. also the video is very successful. regards
I'd read how to do this at least 4 times, now it actually makes sense. Thx. Q: You always clicked to the left side of your target. Do you always continue your spiral in the same direction?
凄く勉強になったよ!ありがとう!
fantastic vid mate :-)
Nice video man and explained very well. Peace from fellow agony member. :-))
so good
Thank you that. Good vid.
finally someone to properly explain how this shit works. tnx
my mind has been blown
I'm someone who pretends they know what they're doing in EVE and this was great even for me to watch. +1
Actually you are both correct. In falloff you miss part of the shot and coz of that you do less dmg.
Science behind the game. ima try this in pvp.
very nice tutorial. however you missed the opportunity to mention that a ship orbiting a stationary object has to track as fast as the stationary object would have to track the orbiting ship. This counter intuitive since its not physically correct. (e.g. almost every interceptor has an insane tracking bonus)
No matter how many times i watch this i still will never understand :(
This complexity is the reason why missiles are so boring compared to turrets.
You should really look into joining a player corp. Most people in eve, even bittervets are more than willing to teach new pilots the game better than any tutorial ingame.
so - how does this projection of yours work out? Have you aquired a few virtual followers yet? But whats more important : is your homework done?
It's not that a small number of people with a large number of accounts think you look like an idiot, it's that a large number of people with a small number of account's think that you do.
TUVET , TVACKING, VANGE , VETVIBUTES, Geneval
Thanks for a good video. I find it a little hard occasionally to hear what you say though, you speak very fast and not too clearly. Starting at 12:00: "Bear in mind though that when you click that button you ????". I can't figure out what you're saying there.
I'm 97% sure they tell you that in the EVE tutorial.
@dawid77777 * these TWO things
I have to correct you ! The falloff and the optimal don´t measure the chance to hit ! These to things only say how much DAMAGE you deal... It says nothing about your chance to hit. When you are within your optimal you do 100% dmg. When you are beyond your optimal the falloff says how much LESS your damage is....
dont worry : being a newbie is not a bad thing in EvE Online - in fact, you may as well embrace it, stop trying to sound experienced on the internet and actually explore the game - you have much to discover.
yes, there are always a lot of newbies in EvE ... thats a fact and we all know it. But most of them stop playing the game after 1 or 2 months because of its complexity - which includes tracking and a lot of other topics like damage-resistance, DPS, alpha-damage, range, scanning ... the list is big. Most people actually NEVER understand ALL of these but if you're willing you can at least understand tracking.
That actually was rather entertaining, please try to keep it up, you've now proven you can't use logic, and apparently have trouble reading as well. I'm eagerly awaiting what you come up with next, or if you're just going to troll something else. I suggest Call of Duty videos, I've been told the average poster is quite like you, at least in terms of intellect
yes, of course i do, sweetie - of course i do. Now do your homework.
You live a sad life, that's really saying something here on the internet.
Incorrect. The video is right on, and what you just said is actually wrong.
3:50 "a fwigate"
additionally : your statement makes no sense contextually ... these are TWO faults so - effectively - you trolls got worse in the last years, no matter how elaborate your attempts might be. You need to switch your strategy, it appears
yeah, that guy certainly has more knowledge than most EvE-players. Because you said so. And you - of course - know every player who plays or played EvE. So much for "looking like a complete idiot", eh young one ;)
aaand we're back to aggressive, infantile behaviour. Well - thats at least a bit better, might as well start from there.
He starts explaining the tracking difficulty about 30 seconds later, so why don't you watch the entire vid before you make yourself look like a complete idiot by telling someone who knows their deal a lot better than most eve players ever will that he doesn't know how the game works
its funny to see you trolls developing new "tactics" now and then - a few years ago, it was utter, aggressive behaviour and now it is announcing your very tactic IN itself ... clever, as i have to admit. But there is a primordial fault in your logic : you cant beat logic with itself (you can only REASON hence persuade certain people), that'd be contradictory.
sorry, kiddo - but that doesnt make any sense at all. And now please stop copying the words from your parents / teachers, it looks ... well, i dont even know how it looks --> sad, maybe? I dont know and i dont care.
the more u talk the less u make sense. cant really picture how u found the undock button, leave alone the mechanics.
