The lower footwell LED you disconnected was an ambient light that illuminates the footwell at night similar to the one that aims down from the overhead console. Plug those back in they are nice while you’re driving at night. 👍🏼

They would be nice if Jeep didn’t cheap out on a six figure vehicle and put an ugly color vs a nice LED

Thanks for the video! I did my footwell lights and simply put a piece of tape around the bulb and then used a pair of pliers to grip it and pull it out.

I did this now my sunroof don't open and rear hatch button don't work any thoughts?but the garage door opens.

For the under floor lights I used a mechanical fingers worked great. Press in the finger plunger and the fingers will grab the bulb at the base. Once it grabs the old bulb slides right off. The new bulb should just pop right in. I did my passenger side but your video shows the driver side. Relax the under floor lights are simple just takes a few tries to rotate the lens cover. This also allows you to test the new bulb connection first before installing the cover.... Trust me the floor well done is easy. You can peel back the carpet a touch but seriously relax and be calm. You will give yourself a heart attack and also does not project confident to the viewers of the video.

Hi you said you changed the 2 lights in the rear seats in a previous Jeep, i have popped off the cover and cannot get the cover back on as the LED which i did not change just pushes up, can you help?

The glove compartment build can be accessed the same way with mechanics fingers. Guide it with your left hand and once finger grab the bulb slowly pull towards the front to release. Place new bulb to test operation if it works you can hold the plunger switch on the glove consider and press in the bulb with the other finger.

The headliner lights, all you have to do is pull down on the headliner on sunroof side(it's only velcro) and unplug it. Did you ever find a way to switch that light to led???

I actually desoldered the led chips in my 2020 GC and soldered in new 5k chips. I know you posted this a year ago but I’m just letting everyone know it is possible. Looks 1000x better.

Bro I did mine you in about that the hardest way possible for those front map lights, but this damn Middle road dome lights man I need the phone number place mine I swear it looks like the bulbs my click on and off I just don't want to pull the whole fucking roof down to see

You could have edited your video to show the successful part on your glovebox. I say that because I tried it how you did trying to catch the bulb and dropped it too. Then your video shows the correct way. Ugh. Did you ever get to the bulb?

Take double sided sticky tape and tape it to pliers . Viola bulb out

I think the yellow gives nice contrast to the led. You should try it

I believe that any electronic shop should be able to convert your nasty ass yellow circuit boards to LEDs at a nominal price.
