    Any tips to give on preventing the cuts from warping out?

  • @902001biggin

    @902001biggin

    joelmacleod17 best bet is to drill a hole every 8 or so inches and skip every other one or tack it down with good tacks and let it cool down by itself before grinding tacks out

    I also thought of tacking on a strong back, heavy angle or beam maybe.

    No preheat??? How is it able to cut that thick of steel without preheating ? When I do 1 inchers I've gotta run it back and forth a few times to preheat before the cutting jet is actually able to cut

    @@lelandjones7639 not a problem man everyone always preheats but will thick iron you really don’t need to just add the psi and send it

    Preheat is the flame that protects the pressure oxygen steam.preheat always happen.if you have to go faster you can do some dry passing

    What affect would a pre heat have??

  • @902001biggin

    @902001biggin

    Жыл бұрын

    Preheat burns off the trash and builds up some heat in a the surface. Keeps it from warping so bad normally on thinner plate. on thicker plate It’s cutting so slow that it preheats itself.
