@@versa5864 some had adjustable suspension, it was fast for a sedan 4ws 4wd could run as hard as a evo 1 in 1/4 and had the 4g63 legendary tuning potential

The Galant is NOT the 240bho model that’s why it’s lagging behind ✅ It’s the ONLY WRC champion on the track 🤣

I love these Japanese track videos.

To be fair here the gallant had 200 ish bhp which Is a fair bit less than some of the other cars here and it was always more of a civilized car than the others. Give it a bit more bhp and stiffer shocks and they do go well.

Exactly! I love seeing comparison videos but it would be more entertaining to see sporty sedans slightly modified to be more equitable against cars that come from the factory with suspension and tire upgrades. A power bump would even be more fair. A 240-ish VR4 with the suspension upgrades would be ideal. I would love to see a comparison between a stock Evo 8 and and a 1991-1992 Legacy VR4 with equal power and suspension upgrades

Only one not driving like a knob end. Why the Z, Supra and Rx7 drivers thought drifting through every corner in a lap battle was appropriate sort of baffles me.

I can vouch the rear suspension is terrible vs the Evo 1. The rear lower control arm is different on the Evo 1 and it stayed like that throughout the Evo 9. The Evos have lower extra bracing as well while the galant doesn't.

Was that car batteries behind the front passenger seat!?
