Love this and easy to follow. I'm getting a sizing issue, when applying the track matte to the video clip and linking it to the channel (eg Video 2), the track matte window shrinks but stays the same shape. Any ideas?

Does any one know if premier has the ability of editing smoothly with variable rate footages? Or is there any workaround of editing variable framerate footages in premier without audio Being out of sync for variable rate footages? I tried the "preserve audio sync feature" but it does not work unfortunately. I Could really really use some help. I record gameplays mostly and last night i found out that gameplays are being recorded in variable frame rate where as premier pro does not work correctly with variable frame rate footages and audio gets out of sync at almost all places. I could really really use help as I'm really clueless on what to do now, tried different methods but nothing works

You could try to export your game play footage from Premiere Pro. Add the game play footage to a sequence that was created from footage you are trying to match. That may stabilize the frame rate. The downside is a slight degradation in quality. But export as H.264, match source high quality and it should be ok. Check the "import into project" box and it will be there to use immediately. I'm curious to know if that works!

Hi, whenever I try to add the matte (after dragging "track matte keying", then selecting the matte), everything goes black :( Any ideas on how to solve that?

When you do it multiple times do you have to duplicate the original "underlying" clip?

Yes, repeat all the steps each time and nest them together so you end up with multiple nests

I know I'm very, very ate to this party, but in PP 2022, I put the center KeyFrame (KF) in , I move playhead (PH) to beginning of the clip, then I drag the bottom of the shape up the top of the shape and KF. . . BUT after moving the PH to the end of the clip PP will not let me drag the shape from the top to the bottom of the shape. I've tried everything i can thnk of - ANYBODY PLEASE HELP!!

Same thing here. There's clearly a bug in some versions of PPro.

The video is nice but a step by step will be better

I don't have the matte vid 2 I only have 9-16
