Why are they making XC more like enduro?

Because watching them ride of dirt fire roads is not great for the sport. Adding some difficulty makes it more exciting and the riders are able to differentiate themselves.

@@LlenadeMalo are you sure it's not so the sponsors can sell a new generation of bigger travel (way more expensive) dual suspension bikes when before a hardtail was perfectly acceptable?
