Actually, there are scattered sandpits throughout the Midwest. Obviously, you have one there, which actually looks more like a stable dune field. A real famous sandpit is near Keithsburg IL, called Sandy Oaks which hosted a 125 national in 1977 which the riders commented was the roughest track they had ever seen. Put about twenty riders on it and in about 2-3 hours you're going to have a really rough sand track.

I love how you mentioned Thumpstar! Its my bike until I can get either a yz85 or a CRF150RB! I am looking to start doing motocross but its hella expensive

@@echogaming5201 Yeah this activity is mad expensive. I had a kx85 when I was 13; I'm in my 30's now. That bike was 3 grand off the showroom floorthen; it cost 6 grand now off the showroom. Inflation and taxes is crazy. Get your 125 and rip if you can. Best of luck to you!
