    Well, would have liked to watch a driver putting this car to it's limit and not cruising around. Letting off the throttle way before the brake zone, short shifting most of the time, etc. I thought "ok, first lap he's getting the tires to temps and accustomed to the grip ...". But he never drove this like a real race car.

  • @jrcapili1094

    @jrcapili1094

    I agree, I dunno if the driver is still cruising around after warming up on the first lap. The evo is one hell of a beast, but the driver didn't push it hard to its limit. The Evo should be driven hard and wild.

    Not sure why some of you think the Porsche is "smoking" the Evo. The Evo catches him immediately, off the very first corner, while short-shifting! Then he backs off for some reason. Watch the tach, or just listen to how often the Evo short-shifts or coasts into a braking zone. Don't ask me WHY he's driving like this... I'm hesitant to call them mistakes as they seem like deliberate choices for some reason. Catches the Porsche several times and then just kind of lets off, until the very last lap. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
