Have been using similar to these dangles (plain ones without the floats) on my rigs here in the UK during the last 2 summers now. Use them on a pulley rig for smoothhound baited with peeler crab, as the baits are only small so dont need the weight in line with them. And a dingle dangle rig for bass and skate using bigger baits, it works an absolute treat. Nice short fat juicy mackerel squid and herring baits, and have only had a few missed bites. Am going to try a floating one for bass, never thought of that tbh.

The dangle reminds me of the rig carp fishermen use for boilie baits :-)

This is one of my personal favorites. Carp anglers are top of their presentation game, we can learn so much from them. Thanks for your comments 💪

Nice presentation. It is sad to see an increase in the amount of trash we throw in the ocean to catch a fish. I do a bit of spearfishing and I walk the local beaches just about every day. It is shocking to see the amount of fishing gear in the reefs and gullies.

Ok I am a novice with these new things.......but those already made Dangles looks like steel traces I use to use about 30 years ago?

So the sinker is only for casting weight? Then it falls off when it hits bottom?? As it does when you place it on the table.. Just trying to understand the concept* cheers m8

Yes the sinker is to get your bait as far as you can cast, the sinker will also keep your bait where it lands in the water. The Dangle is so it all stays together when cast into the air and won't tangle up. If you need any clarity on this trace, feel free to call us during work hours and chat to Ray or any of our sales staff, they are all top Rock n Surf anglers and use this system frequently: +27 (0) 31 368 3903

That part is up to your preference. One option is to tie it with a figure 8 knot onto a 3x4 swivel using a lighter mono line so if it gets jammed it will break off.

Bronze Bream or Bronze Whaler? Would definitely be over kill for a Bream 😂 I would say there are a few Daiwa reels that would do well targeting large Bronze Whalers. The Saltiga range would be ideal, or the new Daiwa Certates that are coming soon.

Ray uses them a lot, he's recently caught some nice flat fish with this trace. If you get a gap, it's worth trying. Tight lines.
